According to foreign media reports, Apple intends to release a new 27-inch iMac Pro in March, which is likely to use the same M1 Pro or M1 Max processor. Despite following the design language of the 24-inch model, the color scheme may only be space gray + silver options, and there is a black bezel off-screen.
Sources also mentioned that the 27-inch iMac Pro is expected to introduce 120Hz ProMotion high-brush screen + mini LED backlight, making it complementary to the new MacBook Pro, and the new machine may also use Face ID face sensing recognition.
However, it is also reported that the large iMac does not have a mini LED, but will be available in a variety of colors (meaning release for the consumer market).
Either way, at least until the release of the new Mac Pro workstation, the legendary iMac is expected to be Apple's most powerful Apple Silicon computer to date.
