Nanjing, 12 Jan (Reporter Wang Hanchao) The 385-meter-high transmission tower was successfully topped out in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, on 12 January.
As an important part of the 500 kV transmission line project from Taizhou Fengcheng to Wuxi Meili, a key national power development project, the transmission towers are located in Wuxi Jiangyin Ligang and Taizhou Jingjiang New Bridge on both sides of the Yangtze River. After the completion of the project, about 28.9 billion kWh of clean electricity can be sent from the north bank of the Yangtze River to the south bank of the Yangtze River every year, meeting the daily electricity needs of about 8 million households.
