On January 5, 2022, U.S. Trade Representative Dai Qi and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Landsbergs had a phone call, the main content of which was to express support for Lithuania's so-called trade coercion. Dai Qi's statement is naturally reversed, because Lithuania supports Taiwan first, but while we expose the truth to the international community, we are more to see the increasingly blatant provocative position of the United States behind this.
The U.S. strategy now is to first choose these small countries to take the lead, and then to entangle the big countries to support these small countries in the dispute between these countries and China. For example, on January 3, 2022, U.S. Secretary of State Blinken spoke with the foreign ministers of nine NATO countries, planning to support Lithuania with these countries. On January 5, Blinken said that China's sanctions against Lithuania were unjustified at a press conference with German Foreign Minister Berbock who was visiting the United States, and on January 7, Dai Qi had a phone call with Dombrovsky, vice president of the European Commission's executive committee, saying that he supported the EU in countering China's economic coercion. Here we see that the current anti-China stance of the United States is to pull the entire EUROPEAN Union together.
Driven by this kind of impetus by the United States, the European Union naturally instigated Lithuania to oppose China. On January 5, German Foreign Minister Berbock said Germany was on Lithuania's side. On January 6, the US political news website POLITICO reported that France, as the rotating presidency of the European Union, hopes that the EU will support Lithuania. On the issue of the U.S. controlling the European Union, my previous article explained that the EU's economy is controlled by the whole wall street represented by the entire Democratic Party, so they don't listen to the Republicans, but they certainly listen to the Democrats. This allows us to see that behind the anti-China opposition in small countries such as Lithuania is a stubborn and huge Western anti-China clique, and we must be prepared for a long-term struggle.
Along with Lithuania in this anti-China role, Czechoslovakia, which has been in conflict with China over Taiwan, took office last December in the government of the czech center-right Peter Fiara, who also publicly expressed his opposition to China and adhered to conservative values before becoming prime minister. The newly elected Czech government consisted of five parties, the People's Democratic Party (ODS), the Party of Traditions, Responsibility and Prosperity (TOP09), the Christian Democrats (Christian Democrats, Pirateparty), and the Mayors and Independence Party (STAN), which in the agreement before the formation of the cabinet had spoken of reversing the pro-Russian and pro-China line and upholding anti-communist values. His foreign minister, Jan Lipawski, openly expressed his anti-China stance before taking office, saying that he would hold China responsible for the epidemic and withdraw from the China-Cebu and Eastern Europe (17+1) state cooperation mechanism, and it seems that he really wanted to do so after taking office.
It can be seen that the new Czech government will not be more friendly to China after that, and Janda, director of the "European Value Policy Security Center", a Czech think tank, judged that the new government will weaken diplomatic relations with China and will also strengthen diplomatic relations with Taiwan. Because Lipawski claims that Taiwanese companies in the Czech Republic provide 24,000 jobs, while Chinese mainland companies provide only 4,000 jobs. This makes us feel once again the necessity of resolving the Taiwan issue, and only by resolving the Taiwan issue can we prevent this issue from being made a fuss by foreign anti-China forces once and for all.
Now it seems that the Czech Republic and Lithuania are ready to carry out a more radical anti-China policy, of course, this is not a threat to China itself, I think the EU and the United States engaged in such a small move, that is, do not dare to openly break diplomatic relations with China, so it is just a speculative act, and china's countermeasures are very effective. Moreover, Biden's current strategy is that there is no focus, it is too scattered, he is in Eastern Europe to encourage pro-American countries to oppose China, but also to encourage them to oppose Russia, and now he is engaged in the Indo-Pacific strategy, so in fact, he will not concentrate on attacking China, and we will easily break through each one. More importantly, they themselves are speculative acts of diverting the domestic crisis, and eventually their national strength will eventually decline due to the epidemic, so their so-called anti-China offensive is weak.
So we don't have to worry too much, judging from the current situation, Lithuania does not seem to be able to hold out much under China's counter-attack, and lithuanian President Nauseda said in an interview with the local media on January 4 that it was a mistake for them to allow Taiwan to set up a representative office in the name of the state. Now it seems that Dai Qi made this call the next day because he was watching Lithuania instigated, so he cheered and said don't be afraid of us holding you. So the judgment that should be made is that Lithuania will toss and turn in the international public opinion field for a while, but it will not make a big deal. Their main strategy is to contain China in the field of diplomatic opinion.
Therefore, China should firmly expose and criticize these anti-China actions themselves as ideological reasons to cover up the incompetence of the entire Western government in responding to the domestic epidemic and crisis, and strive to win more countries and China to unite.
