According to previous reports, the new Kodiak family plans to announce the listing in April this year.
In terms of appearance, the new Kodiak adopts the same shape as the overseas RS version, still adopts the Skoda family design, the front face is equipped with a large blackened air intake grille, the LED headlights on both sides are very sharp, and the following is equipped with a penetrating air intake channel. On the side of the body, the body waistline is straight, the rearview mirrors are designed in two colors, and the bottom is equipped with 18-inch multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.
The rear is equipped with a blackened spoiler above the rear, a two-color design for the taillights, and a hidden exhaust below. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4701mm/1883mm/1676mm, which is 3mm longer than the current model, and the wheelbase is still 2791mm. Two seating layouts, 5 and 7 seats, continue to be available
Officials said that the interior part of the new Kodiak family will be released in the future. However, with reference to the previously released interior design sketch, the domestic version of the new Kodiak will obtain a new floating multimedia display, and its screen size is expected to reach 12 inches (the current model is 9.2 inches), and the design is exclusive to the domestic version of the model. At the same time, the new car or the new family-style three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, the center console will also add more leather wrapping and stitching treatment, and the air conditioning outlet shape will be adjusted synchronously.
In terms of power, the new Kodiak family continues to be equipped with 2.0T (low/high power) engines with maximum power of 137 kW and 162 kW, peak torques of 320 N·m and 350 N·m respectively, the drivetrain is matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, and the high-power model provides a four-wheel drive system.
