Speaking of Cixi, we are not strangers, after all, she was at the helm of the Qing Dynasty for half a century, which brought a great impact on the lives of the people at that time.

Most of these effects were negative, because when she was at the helm, the Qing Dynasty was oppressed by foreign powers. In particular, the sentence she said, "Measure the things of China, the joy of the surplus country", made many Chinese disgusted with her to the extreme.
After all, she has always been currying favor with foreigners and depriving and oppressing her own people.
During Cixi's lifetime, many treaties were also signed, of course, these treaties were also treaties that lost power and humiliated the country, either to cut off land or to pay reparations.
Of course, the Chinese people cannot love such a Cixi.
In fact, Cixi is not the real emperor, the real emperor is Guangxu, but this Guangxu is actually a pawn of Cixi, and everything Guangxu says does not count, Cixi is the helmsman behind it.
It is precisely like this, so Guangxu has always lived a very nestful life.
So what exactly did Cixi do that wasn't discovered by experts until 100 years later?
We all know that Guangxu died suddenly at the age of thirty-eight in 1908 AD. For Guangxu's death, it has always been full of doubts.
Many people say that Cixi killed Guangxu.
However, there is no basis for verbal arguments, and if you want to prove that Guangxu was killed by Cixi, you must come up with evidence.
This is not 100 years later, archaeologists in Guangxu's mausoleum, found the residual fabric of the clothes Guangxu was wearing, and did a chemical test, found that Guangxu's clothes had residual arsenic.
This shows that Guangxu was killed, and at that time, in the eyes of many people, only Cixi could kill Guangxu.
Therefore, many people say that Cixi killed Guangxu.
Of course, Cixi also had a reason to kill Guangxu, the reason was that Guangxu supported Tan Si and Kang Youwei and others to assassinate Cixi in the Summer Palace, but in the end they were informed by Yuan Shikai, they did not kill, and finally Cixi sent the six gentlemen of Wushu to the guillotine.
Later, it was not difficult to understand that Cixi poisoned Guangxu. Combined with the severe poison detected on Guangxu's body 100 years later, there is a good chance that Cixi can do it.
However, there is also a doubt, that is, the day after Guangxu died, Cixi also died. Cixi's death was also very sudden, because at that time, she did not expect that she would die.
After all, her purpose in setting up three-year-old Puyi as emperor was to continue to bow to the government. However, the day after Guangxu died, Cixi suddenly died as well.
This shows that perhaps it was not Cixi who killed Guangxu, but someone else. If this is the case, then the person who killed Guangxu and the person who killed Cixi may be one person.
Of course, this is only speculation.
