But Kovner did not give up revenge, and began planning to poison the captured more than 15,000 SS soldiers, and after a detailed investigation, the members of the revenge organization found that the food supplied to the captives came from the same bakery. In order to make the plan go smoothly, they even dug a secret passage and secretly poisoned the food supplied to the German SS.
As a result, 2283 people were poisoned, and although many people were rescued, 400 people died. The guards of the camp also investigated the matter, but due to the notoriety of the SS, the poisoning incident was eventually not resolved.
