Last night, Chery's Jietu brand released a new hardcore style SUV car - Jietu T-X. First of all, in terms of the appearance of the Jietu T-X, I think it is still very good-looking, the front face contour of the new car is very square and tough, the light source structure of the headlights presents a "+" glyph layout, the Middle Net uses the letter logo of the Jietu brand, the luminous font will be used, the body line is also very tough, but it is a bit similar to the Ford Lima and the Land Rover Defender, especially the front face is compared to the Ford Lima, and the rear body line is compared to the Land Rover Defender.

The T product range is also very rich in power, and the future will include 1.0T, 2.0T, 3.0T fuel version and hybrid, pure electric and other options, but also with a four-wheel drive system equipped with differential lock, including mechanical four-wheel drive and electric four-wheel drive versions.
Even its body includes two kinds of body structures, load-bearing or non-load-bearing. According to the plan, the first model of the T product series, the T-1, will be launched in 2023.
In contrast, the tank 300 currently has two options of 2.0T and 3.0T V6 power, although it is also divided into off-road version and urban version according to different scenes, but both versions use non-bearing body structure, that is, the basic body structure of hard-core off-road.

In fact, looking closely at the somewhat complicated product planning of the Jietu T-X, I feel that the Jietu T-X is actually benchmarking the two models under the Great Wall, that is, the hardcore model of the non-load-bearing body structure is benchmarked against the tank 300, and the model of the bearing body structure may also be benchmarked against the Haval Dog.

But in any case, after the Jietu T-X, with the arrival of a large number of domestic hardcore off-road vehicles with lower entry thresholds and higher cost performance, the life of imported wranglers and Jimneys in the domestic hard-core off-road market may become more and more difficult.
