Samsung's QD Display screen has received three SGS certifications and was mass-produced in November last year

According to the official news of Samsung Display, QD Display, which began mass production at the end of November 2021, has passed the three certifications of SGS, which can richly and accurately present colors in nature, allowing users to enjoy clear and bright pictures at any location and any angle.

Samsung said that according to the SGS evaluation results, QD Display's color reproducibility (the color gamut that can be displayed at a specific brightness) is more than 90% based on BT2020, and QD Display's color volum (the color gamut that can be displayed according to the brightness and darkness of the screen) is 120% based on the DCI-P3 color gamut, obtaining the "True Color Tones" certification.

When displaying the primary colors of RGB (red/green/blue), QD Display was evaluated as "a display that can accurately represent the primary colors without losing brightness" and obtained SGS's "Pure RGB Luminance" certification.

QD Display has also earned SGS's Ultrawide Viewing Angle certification, allowing multiple people to get a good picture quality experience anywhere when viewed.
