Top News Henan Business News (Reporter Song Yameng Intern Chen Yuwen / Photo) On January 10, at 7:00 a.m., the city had not yet begun to be busy, and the nucleic acid testers of Henan Children's Hospital had assembled to go to the community nucleic acid sampling point to start a new day's work.
The night before, Yao Jiaxin, a nucleic acid tester at Henan Children's Hospital, received a notice that the next day he and his colleagues would go to Jinzhuang Community of the Jicheng Office in Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou City, to be responsible for nucleic acid testing.
At 8:30 a.m., Yao Jiaxin and her colleagues put on N95 masks and face shields, put on protective clothing, and put on two layers of medical latex gloves and boot covers... After many "checkpoints", they came to the nucleic acid testing table, and there was already a long queue in front of them.
On a winter morning, the cold is overwhelming, and Yao Jiaxin's testing point is set indoors, and although he wears a thick cotton coat, he still feels cold.
"Open your mouth a little wider, don't be nervous, 'ah', keep 'ah'..." Yao Jiaxin, wearing a thick mask and a face shield, was already shouting hard, but it was still inaudible to the people sitting opposite.
Take a cotton swab, sample, sample, save, the steps seem simple, repeat hundreds of times a day, thousands of times, the arm is tired and sore, the mask is also a burst of water, fog.
The whole body protection, the original body movement is limited, after a few hours, Yao Jiaxin's neck, shoulders, back, waist appeared to varying degrees of numbness and soreness.
But the intense work occupied all of Yao Jiaxin's energy, and she could not afford to think much, including the family's 9-month-old daughter.
In addition to meal time, each nucleic acid tester works at least 5 hours, in order to reduce the time to go to the toilet, they generally do not drink water in protective clothing.
On the one hand, it is worried about going to the toilet, the protective clothing will be scrapped; on the other hand, the time to put on and take off the protective clothing plus the toilet takes more than 20 minutes, and it will be replaced by colleagues to leave.
Looking at the crowd in line, that sense of urgency made Yao Jiaxin unable to leave for a moment.
"Please wear a mask and be one meter apart in accordance with the requirements of epidemic prevention." Volunteers guided residents to queue up in an orderly manner and register information, and Yao Jiaxin and colleagues were divided into 3 groups and sampled in batches.
For 6 hours, the sampling must be completed and no one can be missed. In order not to let the masses wait too long, Yao Jiaxin and his colleagues gave up resting and gritted their teeth and insisted.
At 3 p.m., near the end of the sampling, Yao Jiaxin and his colleagues sampled more than 5,000 people, and then they realized that their clothes were frozen and their hands were frozen.
At the end of the day's testing, taking off the protective clothing, Yao Jiaxin's sleepiness was written on her face, and her cheeks and forehead had been strangled with obvious marks.
Tomorrow, Yao Jiaxin and her colleagues will go to new places and repeat the same work.
These days, through protective clothing and masks, we can't even see their faces, but they have built an invisible "great wall" of health for us.
