The youth of Zhu Wen, a tombdigger of the Tang Dynasty: nine of the ten emperors

The youth of Zhu Wen, a tombdigger of the Tang Dynasty: nine of the ten emperors

All the things to be said here begin on the night of December 21, the sixth year of the Tang Dynasty (852), when a rural private school teacher Zhu Cheng (the history books say that his ancestor was a descendant of Situ Hu of Shun, but I suspect that this was suspected of putting gold on his face) (Wang's deeds are unknown, only that she married Later Liang Liezu and gave birth to Zhu Quanyu, Zhu Cun, and Later Liang Taizu Zhu Wen.

The youth of Zhu Wen, a tombdigger of the Tang Dynasty: nine of the ten emperors

In July of the first year of Kaiping (907), Zhu Wen declared himself emperor, and caught up with Wang's courtesy name as Empress Wenhui) and gave birth to a baby boy, which everyone knows is the later Zhu Wen. When emperor Dafan was born, there will be some similar strange records in later history books.

(Zhu Wen.) From 852 to 912, he was a native of Song Prefecture (宋州砀山, in modern Zhongshan, Anhui). Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Later Liang Founding Emperor. )

For example, the wind, the rainstorm, the aroma, the meteors in the sky, etc., anyway, I want to tell you that our protagonist is not ordinary people. Mr. Zhu Wen was no exception; on this night, the house where his family lived had red clouds churning upwards, and when the people in the village saw it, they all ran in panic and said, "The Zhu family is angry."

When I arrived, I saw that the house was neat and intact. After entering the house, the neighbors told them the news of the child, and the villagers were amazed ("History of the Old Five Dynasties").

It is almost exactly the same as the later birth of his descendant Zhu Yuanzhang (tentatively, not considered), I don't know whether those historians of the Ming Dynasty copied the "History of the Old Five Dynasties", or the authors of the "History of the Old Five Dynasties" copied the "Ming Shilu"? If in chronological order, we have reason to suspect the former.

"The family lineage is Confucianism, ancestral faith, father sincerity, all take the professor as the profession" shows that Zhu Cheng is a teaching gentleman, and we can see from the professional function of the ancient teacher, the status of the teacher is also very noble.

Han Yu, a famous literary scholar of the Tang Dynasty, made an incisive exposition of the role of the teacher, saying: "Teachers, so preach, teach, and solve puzzles." He expressed three meanings in this sentence:

First, the teacher's first priority is to "preach." What is preaching? I think preaching is about teaching students how to be human, so that students know how to be a person in order to be a successful person.

Among them are the moral principles of being a human being, the meaning of life and the value of life.

The second is "teaching.". Teachers should teach students how to do things, mainly so that students can learn a skill, enough for students to settle down and support their families.

Of course, this skill also includes cultural knowledge, because knowledge itself is a force, which is particularly evident in today's society.

The third is to "solve the puzzle". Teachers should teach students how to find problems and solve problems, and help students solve doubts, so that students know how to learn knowledge and how to do learning.

The three functions of the teacher proposed by Han Yu have been proven correct by history and are still used today.

It is also Han Yu's exposition that has raised the function of teachers from a preliminary perceptual understanding to the height of theory, and has also made more people respect the profession of teachers.

From han Yu's description of the function of a teacher, we can see that the teacher plays an unparalleled role in a person's growth process. He taught people how to be a successful person, how to solve a problem satisfactorily, how to learn knowledge, and engage in academic research.

It is precisely because of these functions of teachers that the group of teachers was greatly respected by people in ancient times.

Therefore, Zhu Cheng still has a relatively good status in the township, and the problem of food and clothing should not be a problem. Our Mr. Zhu Wen still had a good meal since he was a child, which laid a solid physical foundation for his later "courage and strength".

But the good times were short-lived, the three brothers, before they reached adulthood, died their father, and their mother took them to foster care in the home of Liu Chong, a native of Xiao County, to put it bluntly, as a domestic worker.

Our Mr. Zhu Wen has grown up, not doing the right thing, idle, which, like most of the founders of the dynasty, was idle at first, but then did some earth-shattering business, it seems that ancient historians have been very skilled in the technique of wanting to promote and suppress.

Zhu Quanyu has no other talents, but is honest and generous. Zhu Cun and Zhu Wen were powerful, and Zhu Wen was particularly fierce and strong.

He thought he was brave and powerful in the township, and no one could compare with him, and people at that time thought that he often overestimated himself, and most of them hated him.

Judging from the subsequent battles, Zhu Wen did not have conceit, plus he laid a good physical foundation from an early age, and he was indeed brave and powerful.

Therefore, his adoptive father Liu Chong, because of his laziness, often rebuked and whipped him. Only Liu Chong's mother pitied him from an early age, combed his hair with her own hands, and once warned his family: "The third son of the Zhu family is not an ordinary person, and you should treat him well." ”

When the family asked her why she said this, she replied, "I once saw him turn into a red snake when he was asleep." But no one believed it.

At this time, China was in the last year of the Tang Dynasty, and after Tang Suzong, they were basically emperors.

Jealous of heroes, appeasement of those who support soldiers, and insatiable greed for property, Tang Dezong is such a typical emperor.

Tang Xianzong was basically a representative of the corrupt forces, he trusted the eunuchs, but he himself was overthrown by the eunuchs, and the late Tang Dynasty, characterized by the power of the eunuchs being greater than the emperor, began.

Tang Muzong and Tang Jingzong were two emperors who were tamed under eunuchs, and they only demanded that a life of extravagance and indulgence be satisfied, and did not care about the government at all.

Tang Wenzong had the intention of eliminating the eunuchs, but as a result, he was monitored by the eunuchs, so he had to drink and get drunk, and gave poems to dispel sorrow, claiming to be subject to domestic slaves.

Tang Xuanzong believed that he had wisdom and skill, and believed that his opinions must be correct. His will is only to be obeyed by his subjects, not to be violated. Emperor Tang specialized in games, and all political affairs were handed over to Lieutenant Tian Lingzi, who was made his father.

Emperor Tang arbitrarily spent money and property, and those who dared to oppose it were all handed over to Jing Zhaoyin for killing. No one dared to speak to the officials below the prime minister. When he arrived at Tang Zhaozong, his ambition was not small, and it was too late to return to heaven.

At that time, there were forty or fifty feudal towns in the country, and each clan town had an army, ranging from thousands to 100,000 people.

For example, the Three Towns Of Hebei Province, the long-term hereditary inheritance of father and son, mutual marriage, enjoyed various political and economic privileges, formed an unruly and arrogant clique of soldiers, often launched mutinies, expelled generals, or supported jiedushi to steal land and rebel against the imperial court, and the harm was extremely serious.

As a result, one of the dynasties with the longest unification and national strength in China's history is on the verge of collapse, with constant wars and economic and political recessions, and has been declining. At this time, the Tang Empire buried the seeds of destruction, only waiting for the fire to take advantage of the wind.

The whirlwind soon arrived.

During the reign of Emperor Qianfu of the Tang Dynasty, there was a famine in the Kanto region for many years, and hordes of thieves gathered together.

The upper layers are drunk and dreaming of death, and the lower layers are miserable; When a dynasty reaches this point, it is not far from the date of its demise.

After all, people at the top are a minority, and when they are not at all concerned about the suffering of the lower classes, that is, when the people revolt and rebel.

The gap between rich and poor is extremely large, and it will also stimulate the lower levels to say that the prince will have a kind of Hu! That is; Why can you enjoy, we are all human beings. I can also turn over to serfs and enjoy the blessings. The officials were completely out of touch with the people.

When most officials are only concerned with their own enjoyment and do not hear the pain in their ears, this is a precursor to the demise of the dynasty. This dynasty has come to the camera.

In the fourth year of Qianfu (877), Zhu Wen then resigned from Liu Chong's family and joined his second brother Zhu Cun in the Huangchao Army, where he was promoted to captain because he fought bravely and won many times.

On December 5, 880, in the first year of Tang Guangming's reign, Huang Chao attacked Chang'an and sent Zhu Wen to lead troops to garrison Dongwei Bridge.

At this point, Zhu Wen realized his dream of joining the army and gradually became a powerful faction in the rebel army.
