On January 7, the 2021 "Southern Guangdong Craftsman" release ceremony sponsored by the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology was held at Guangdong Radio and Television Station. Comrade Li Tao of the Guangdong Provincial Museum (Guangzhou Lu Xun Memorial Hall) Cultural Relics Protection Science and Technology Center won the 2021 "Southern Cantonese Craftsman".
Guangdong Provincial Museum released the news that Li Tao entered the Guangdong Provincial Museum (Guangzhou Lu Xun Memorial Hall) in 2006, with the help of the provincial cultural relics protection science and technology center platform, constantly research new methods, new technologies, and the combination of traditional crafts and modern high technology, overcome some new problems in the field of restoration of calligraphy and painting, won four national patents, filled the gap in the industry, and successively presided over and organized the installation and restoration of about 3760 pieces/ sets of calligraphy and painting cultural relics in the collection of the main museum and the grass-roots museum. Among them, a total of 63 national first-class cultural relics and 76 national second-class cultural relics were restored and protected.
The reporter learned that the Guangdong Provincial Museum (Guangzhou Lu Xun Memorial Hall) cultural relics protection science and technology center in the province and even the national cultural relics protection and restoration in a leading position, in order to further promote the protection and restoration of cultural relics, has set up a cultural relics protection science and technology alliance, to promote the construction of Guangdong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Science and Technology Center, plans to complete the capital construction at the end of next year, to further enhance Guangdong's cultural protection science and technology level, to create an advanced scientific research and technical service platform to provide basic guarantee and technical support.
The "Nanyue Craftsman" recommended learning activity has been carried out for 5 sessions, and a large number of industry leaders with social influence have emerged.
