Italian media: Osmayne may return next week or January 23, but he will need to wear a mask to play

According to Italian media reports, Napoli striker Osmayne will undergo a medical examination tomorrow, and he may return next week or January 23 wearing a protective mask.

At the end of November, Osmayne suffered a head-to-head collision with Inter defender Shkrinjar and suffered a cheekbone injury, and after undergoing surgery, he has been truncating since then. He had hoped to compete with Nigeria for the Africa Cup of Nations, but he was not included in the squad due to a positive COVID-19 test before the tournament started.

After recovering from COVID-19, Osmayn returns to Italy and tomorrow he will undergo a professional examination by Dr. Giampolo Tartaro to assess his injuries. If the situation is positive, osmayne could return in the next Serie A match against Bologna or against Salernitana on 23 January.

Whatever the situation, however, Osmayne will need to wear a protective mask if he wants to play in the next few weeks.
