It is understood that at present, Beijing Bus is in close communication with Yizhuang, and this year is expected to conduct practical road tests of driverless buses in Yizhuang, accumulating data through a large number of actual road tests. Wang Chunjie, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Beijing Bus Group, said: "Beijing Bus has been undergoing digital transformation for two years, and through digital transformation, we have accumulated a lot of experience and laid a solid foundation, and there will be many digital transformation achievements in the future. ”

By the end of 2021, the punctuality rate of bus arrival in Beijing reached 74.39%, an increase of 28.93 percentage points compared with 45.46% at the end of 2019, and an increase of 5.51 percentage points compared with 68.88% at the end of 2020, achieving a significant improvement in the level of public transportation services.

By 2022, there is a preliminary plan for the elimination and renewal of bus vehicles, with plans to eliminate 1,070 old buses and 970 clean energy and new energy buses. After the elimination and renewal, the proportion of clean energy and new energy buses in the bus group will reach about 92%.

In terms of safe driving, Beijing Bus has also developed an abnormal behavior interpretation system, by installing this system on the vehicle, real-time monitoring of abnormal behavior in the driver's cab, once there is abnormal driving behavior caused by physical discomfort and other conditions, the system can warn the driver in real time and reduce safety hazards.
