There were many outstanding poets in the Tang Dynasty, but there were also some talents with very eccentric personalities, such as Liu Cha, Luo Yin and others, which everyone is familiar with. In addition, there are representatives of the Han Mengshi school such as Jia Dao, Mengjiao and Lu Tong, who are maverick on the one hand, and feel sad in their hearts on the other hand, so their poems are also unique.
When people live for a lifetime, they must associate with many people. If you can get help and improvement from the outside world, it is naturally a good thing; if you can't fit in, or feel dragged down, it is better to withdraw, as a poet in the Tang Dynasty felt. The following introduces two poems that Lu Tong is very famous for, different customs, holding the truth and keeping clumsy, expressing a bitter mood.

Self-Chant (Part 1)
Tang Dynasty: Lu Tong
In order to repay Yu chuanzi, Zhijun is not a sage.
Although there is ground on the ground, there is no law on the back.
Flesh and bones are thin and thin, and lettuce is old and old.
Family letters and hearts, accompanied by the flow of years.
Lu Tong, who called himself Yuchuanzi, was the grandson of Lu Zhaolin, a talented son of the early Tang Dynasty. Although his family was poor, he liked to read, and his family also collected various subsets of scriptures and histories. He does not seek fame and fame, has a straight disposition, and has the arrogance of Han Yu. "Two Songs of Self-Aria" was written in the poet's later years, and the poem expresses his own life in a self-deprecating tone and expresses the bitterness in his heart.
At the beginning of the chapter, the poet said to Tamagawako, I know that you are not a sage, so you should not serve in the court, otherwise you will delay the important affairs of the society, so you have to live in seclusion between Lin Quan.
In fact, the emperor also knew that the poet was talented, and he sent people to invite him out of the mountain many times, but he refused for various reasons. The poet also said brazenly, bowing his head and thinking to himself, as if he had his own place; looking around on his back, but there was no room for display. These two sentences appear extremely painful, and also show their uncooperative attitude with the imperial court.
The poet was uninhibited in his youth, and although his temper had relented in his later years, he was still reluctant to go with the flow. Caizi also felt that his physical health was not as good as before, not only was his family surrounded by walls and his life was poor, but he was also lonely and poor, and no one cared for him. Qingcheng is thin, which means becoming clear and thin; lettuce, that is, lettuce. Dirty, fishy wet.
The last two sentences are even more pathetic, flowing like water, and in the blink of an eye, they must be white, accompanied only by shelves of books and haunting memories. In this poem, Tamakawako uses a self-deprecating tone to express his ancient straight Gengsuke personality, in which he abandons the sinister and rough, and wins with simple slang, but the three or four sentences are bold and amazing sentences.
Self-Chant (Part 2)
Ignorance of oneself, the king of human fetishes.
Career is a dream, and the wine is a hometown.
The sun and moon are sticky and bearded, and the cloud mountain locks the lungs and intestines.
Fools are only public, and there is no need to be alarmed.
Lu Tong's poems are mostly in ancient style, the style is crazy and rough, the language is strong, but it is also very sinister and difficult to mouth. However, his poems are full of momentum and power, giving people a shocking, dangerous and angry beauty.
The first two sentences are still self-deprecating, the author said that his spiritual transcendence is the first of the lonely and crazy personalities in the world, but he is also a person without a confidant. The outer world, that is, the world; the king of fetishes, the king of eccentric madness.
The poet also lamented that his life was like a dream, ethereal, unpredictable, and indulging in wine was the greatest happiness. One reason for the lack of Zhiyin is that others dislike him, and another possibility is that he does not take others to play, and since the poet does not seek advancement, it is conceivable that it should belong to the latter.
Five or six sentences express the sorrow of the heart, the poet pulls his beard to make it a long day; the poet does not care about everything, but likes to wander between the green mountains and clear waters. Yun shan refers to nature; lungs and intestines refer to the bosom. These two sentences are fresh and vivid, lively and playful, and quite interesting.
Finally, the poet compares himself to a fool, expressing his own true and clumsy, and also fully showing the poet's crazy and eccentric thinking and personality, and lamenting that the time is not with me, and it is like a dream. Gong, refers to Lu Tong himself. Whoa, means surprise and panic.
Both of Lu Tong's poems express the loneliness and bitterness of the heart in a self-deprecating tone. There is not a single word in the whole text to express pain and sorrow, but words such as "thin and flowing years" and "body is a dream, wine is the hometown" all highlight the poet's cynical state of mind.
