Live Bar January 9 - At the final of the ATP250 Melbourne Open, Spain's Nadal defeated American Clécy 2-0 (7-6, 6-3) to win the first official event after his comeback.

The tournament is the 35-year-old Nadal's first official appearance after nearly half a year of injury, winning the 89th singles title of his career, and the first hard court championship since March 2020, which is a good start for the Australian Open that will also start in Melbourne.
