The eldest son of the Qing Emperor could not do it, and none of them died well, and only one succeeded to the throne

In ancient times, the "orderly growth and young" was emphasized, and the eldest son could get more resources and more rights than the younger brothers below, so if a family had multiple sons, everyone wanted to be the eldest son.

But in the case of the imperial family, this is not the case, the emperor's first son, is not enviable, most of them either died early, or were beaten by others, and few died well.

Nurhaci

In the Qing Dynasty, there were a total of twelve emperors from Nurhaci, and the last three Tongzhi, Guangxu, and Xuantong had no heirs, so only nine had eldest sons.

Of the nine imperial eldest sons, four died before they could reach adulthood.

Shunji's eldest son, Aisin Kyora Niu, lived only 89 days. Kangxi's eldest son died prematurely, and his name and age of survival are now difficult to know (generally speaking, Kangxi's eldest son, Yin Zhen, was actually Kangxi's fifth son, because the first four sons were long gone). Yongzheng's eldest son, Aisin Kyora Honghui, died at the age of 7. Jiaqing's eldest son died at the age of 2, and even his name was not taken, and Jiaqing was posthumously honored as the King of Mu County.

Qianlong's eldest son loved Xinjue Luo Yong huang

Why did a royal family born in such good conditions also die prematurely? First, because their father and emperor got married early (such as Shunzhi married at the age of 14), they generally began to be fathers in their teens, and they were not yet fully developed, and the vitality of the offspring born was very weak, and it was easy to die as soon as they were lost. Second, the smallpox epidemic in the Qing Dynasty court, people at that time almost had no way to do anything about smallpox and other infectious diseases, children suffered from it, carried it over, and hung up without carrying it. The Kangxi Emperor also contracted smallpox when he was a few years old, but fortunately he survived.

The adult eldest son of the emperor had the following five, except for one who ascended the throne and became the emperor, the others were eventually very sad.

Ai Xinjueluo Chu Ying, the eldest son of Nurhaci, who followed Nurhaci around in his conquests and made many contributions, was originally the heir to the Khan's throne, but he was cruel and narrow-minded, offended the "five founding ministers" (Eyidu, Fei Yingdong, He Heli, Anfei Yanggu and Hurhan) and his brothers, and completely lost his power. He was so disgruntled that he burned incense and cursed his ministers and brothers, and was placed under house arrest by Nurhaci. In 1615, Nurhaci executed him at the age of 36.

Love Shin Kyora Chu Ying

Emperor Taiji's eldest son, Ai Xinjue luo Hauge, had a wide range of military achievements, and originally a minister proposed to let him succeed to the throne, but he was modest, and as a result, he was pushed by Dolgun shunshui and did not let him enter the unification. Later, he was suppressed by Dorgon and executed for five years in Shunzhi at the age of 39.

Qianlong's eldest son, Xinjueluo Yonghuan, was reprimanded by the Qianlong Emperor for not understanding the number of ceremonies and not crying bitterly during the thirteenth year of Qianlong (1748) when Empress Xiaoxianchun was offering a ceremony. Yong Huang was frightened every day and died less than two years later, at the age of 23.

Daoguang's eldest son loves Shin Kyora Yiwei and one day angers Daoguang. Daoguang reprimanded him a few times, and then kicked him a few times, but he did not expect to kick YiWei's lower body, and he died when the treatment was ineffective, and he died at the age of 23.

, Tongzhi Emperor

In the end, there was only one eldest son of the emperor, that is, he inherited the throne, and he was the eldest son of the Xianfeng Emperor, Ai Xinjueluo Zaichun, who was called "Tongzhi Emperor" after ascending the throne. However, although Zaichun became emperor, he only lived for 19 years before he died, and still did not escape the curse of the short life of the eldest son of the Qing Emperor.
