In the past year, the three main tasks of core system construction, content production reserve and 8K APP research and development of 8K projects have been completed here.
In April 2021, Beijing Radio and Television Station set up a special class for the 8K project to fully promote the preparation of the 8K ultra-high-definition test channel for the Winter Olympics. After nearly a year of efforts, more than 20 domestic independent knowledge achievements have been formed, more than 50 hours of 8K boutique programs have been produced, more than 100 hours of 8K materials have been accumulated, and the preparation and broadcasting of the pilot channel have been successfully completed.
