Liu Nongjun was born in 1963 in Wuhan, Hubei Province, although his mind is very flexible, but he did not use this wisdom on the right path, his hands and feet were not clean since he was a child, his parents felt that what he stole were some worthless small things and did not pay attention to them, they did not think that the story of "stealing needles when hours, stealing gold when big" would happen to their sons.

When Liu Nongjun was still a student, he felt unhappy when he saw other classmates spending money in a big way, and he resented why he did not have such good conditions, so he started the idea of school equipment. The school later found out that the equipment was stolen by Liu Nongjun and sold, and expelled him to make an example. Liu Nongjun has been indulged by his parents since he was a child, and he is no longer ashamed of stealing.

In the 80s, college students were more precious than golden knots, and whoever produced a college student was the pride of the whole village. During the two years that Liu Nongjun was expelled from home, he was admitted to the history department of Wuhan University in 1988 by self-study. During his college years, Liu Nongjun fell in love with antiques, read a lot of books for this purpose, learned some cultural relics appreciation knowledge in 2 years, and at least knew whether it was worth it at a glance. After graduating, he still did not change the bad problem of stealing, and also trained the ability of anti-reconnaissance, and did not miss several thefts, and he was not caught by the police.

In 1992, in this era, cultural relics dealers smuggled cultural relics became a common practice, his hands began to itch again, after some inner struggle, decided to attack the museum's cultural relics, he aimed at the Kaifeng Museum. At that time, the Kaifeng Museum installed a batch of infrared detection alarms in the museum, and when the infrared rays naturally radiated by the human body were detected, they would emit a "tick-tock" alarm sound.

In order to deal with this thing, Liu Nongjun bought the exact same alarm, every day after work, he hid in the residence to study, he repeatedly tinkered and finally found that the alarm was covered with a red flannel cloth is equivalent to scrapping, so he prepared some red cloth in advance to cover the alarm.

He knew that he could not steal the museum's mass cultural relics alone, so he found a group of fox friends with previous criminal records to do it together. One of Liu Nongjun's accomplices, Liu Jin, stole a white Santana and made a fake license plate as a means of transportation to escape.

Liu Nongjun did not seem nervous at all about such a big crime of stealing the museum, because he had already stepped on the Kaifeng Museum, and when he was a student before, he went to the medical college morgue to practice his guts in order to steal things. According to the plan, he covered the alarm with a red flannel, and sure enough, the alarm did not sound, and Liu Nongjun and others stole 69 cultural relics unconsciously, including 59 first- and second-level cultural relics.

Three hours later, it was 8:00 a.m. on September 18, the Kaifeng Museum opened its doors to welcome guests, and as soon as the staff opened the door and introduced the mess left by Liu Nongjun, it was obvious that they had just been robbed, and the staff immediately called the police. This incident finally alarmed the superiors and demanded that the case be solved immediately. Finally, the police stared at Liu Jin's white Santana. Liu Nongjun had asked Liu Jin to destroy Santana, but Liu Jin was reluctant to have so many cars and secretly stayed, and the police caught Liu Jin through this car, and then captured Liu Nongjun and others.
