Zhu Xuan
Zhu Xuan was born into a wealthy family and sold smuggled salt with his father Zhu Qing in his early years. Later, Zhu Qing was captured and executed by the government, and Zhu Xuan escaped the disaster and fled to Qingzhou as a soldier. In the first year of Zhonghe (881), Emperor Huanzong of Tang occupied Chang'an because of Huang Chao, so he ordered the kings of Qin everywhere. Pinglu Jiedu made Wang Jingwu therefore send the general Cao Cunshi to lead three thousand troops to Chang'an to rescue him, and Zhu Xuan accompanied him as a military attendant.

Cao Cunshi passed through the jurisdiction of the Tianping Army and found that the town had suffered huge losses due to the Yellow Nest Rebellion and its strength was weak, so he took the opportunity to launch a surprise attack and capture Yun Prefecture, which became the queen of the Tianping Army. Zhu Xuan was promoted to the post of Puzhou Assassin because of his merits in helping Cao Cunshi capture the Tianping Army, and was also responsible for managing the Tooth Army.

Qin Zongquan

Shi Pu
In the first year of the Dragon Age (889), Zhu Wen attacked the Reform Army after destroying Qin Zongquan, intending to annex the town. Shi Pu then asked Zhu Xuan for help. Zhu Xuan thought that he had saved Zhu Wen and was his brother of the same clan, so he persuaded Zhu Wen to retreat. Zhu Wen

Zhu Zhen then besieged Yun Prefecture, and Zhu Xuan could not hold out. Zhu Xuan expected that Zhu Zhen would win many victories and would inevitably lighten the enemy, so he sent his troops to surrender Zhu Yu to Zhu Zhen. Zhu Zhen believed that it was true, so he took advantage of the night to take thousands of elite soldiers to the city to meet him, but he was suddenly attacked and suffered heavy losses. Zhu Xuan seized the opportunity to counterattack and retake Cao Prefecture, but soon the general Guo Ba rebelled, causing Cao Prefecture to regain and regain. Zhu Jin tried to sneak into Kaifeng, but was repelled by Zhu Wen.
In the first year of Jingfu (892), Zhu Wen launched a major campaign against Zhu Xuan and sent his son Zhu Youyu as the vanguard. Zhu Xuan then took advantage of the night raid and defeated Zhu Youyu, forcing him to retreat. Zhu Wen did not know that Zhu Youyu had retreated, so he sent military food into his camp, only to find that the camp had been occupied by Zhu Xuan and had to retreat. Zhu Jin

In general, Zhu Xuan was a late Tang Dynasty warlord, who resisted the invasion of Wei Bo's army by clinging to Yun Prefecture and was able to sit firmly in the Tianping Army.
