The black slave trade has appeared a long time ago, the 1st century AD "Red Sea Return" recorded the Somali slave trade, developed to the 14th century, Europeans involved, some large cities in European countries even set up special slave markets for blacks.
After Columbus discovered the New World and discovered the New World, the slave trade reached a high point. Located in the northern Caribbean, there is an island nation called Haiti, which was originally called the island of Spain, arrived here in 1492 by the navigator Columbus, then named after the Spanish nationals, and established the first European colony in the Americas.
In 1502, the island of Spain officially became a Spanish colony, named "Santo Domingo", and by the 16th century, Spain had established 15 cities here, during which the island's natives fought a war, but these natives were used as slaves by the colonists, engaged in sugar cane cultivation, gold digging, cattle breeding and so on.
Slave owners did not see slaves as human beings, lynchings were frequent, slaves were often beaten, even thrown into boiling hot water, and so on.
Later, the natives were wiped out by the smallpox brought by the Spaniards, and without slaves, the west became a wasteland and became a pirate stronghold, and in 1697 Spain ceded the western part of the island to France under the Treaty of Lesvik in the Grand Alliance War.
Jean-Jacques de Sarin was born in 1758 to a black slave family in Grand Deivière, North Haiti, and after Haiti became a colony, many blacks from central and West Africa were brought to the island as slaves.
Jean-Jacques de Sarin spent his early years as a slave in Saint-Domingomin, French, and his surname was given to him by a French slave owner, and jean-Jacques de Sarin was later bought by a free black man named Desarim, hence the name "Jean-Jacques de Sarin".
Jean-Jacques de Sarin hated white people and was bent on establishing his own power, and in 1791 the Black Rebellion broke out, in which Jean-Jacques de Sarin participated, and became the right and left arm of the black leader Toussaint Louverture, and in 1802, Toussaint Louvertur was captured, and Jean-Jacques de Sarin became the leader of the uprising.
In 1804, after 13 years of revolt, Jean-Jacques de Sarin declared the country independent in the name of governor and, in accordance with the Arawak language, named the country "Haiti", the first state in the history of the world to be established by a slave revolt, the first black republic in the world, and the first independent republic in Latin America.
In September of the same year, Jean-Jacques de Sarin proclaimed himself emperor for Jacques I, and then Jacques I gave his first order, which was to kill all whites, saying: "In order to declare our independence, we should treat the skins of the white races as parchment, their skulls as ink bottles, their blood as ink, and their bayonets as pens!" ”
After the Massacre, things did not get better, Haiti's agriculture was devastated, and more than 80 per cent of Haitian blacks were uneducated and therefore lacked skills, which led to the end of all commercial activities.
In order to increase agricultural production, Jean-Jacques de Sarin re-established the plantation system, the treatment of laborers was not much better, and in only 2 years, Haiti was already in chaos, not only the whites were dissatisfied with Jean-Jacques de Sarin's policies, but also the blacks were dissatisfied with Jean-Jacques de Sarin's rule.
In 1806, Jean-Jacques de Sarin was assassinated while on his way to Port-au-Prince to suppress the rebellion, and the following year Alexander Petion became president, a mixed-race man with a French father and a black mother.
