Weinan City, known in ancient times as "Xia Yi", "Lotus Spoon", "Dongfu", "QinDong", and "Hongnong",

Located in the eastern part of the Guanzhong Plain, in the eastern part of Shaanxi Province,

Adjacent to Shangluo, Xi'an, Xianyang, Tongchuan and Yan'an,

It is bordered by Yuncheng City in Shanxi and Sanmenxia City in Henan Province.

The total area is 13,030 square kilometers

It administers 2 districts: Linwei District and Huazhou District;

2 county-level cities: Hancheng City and Huayin City.

The municipal government is located in Linwei District.

The terrain of Weinan City is based on the WeiHe River,

Forming the five major landform types of north and south mountains, two mountains and central Pingchuan,

The central Weihe Alluvial Plain is the most open area of the Qinchuan River in 800 miles.

The climate is warm temperate semi-humid semi-arid monsoon climate,
