In August 1915, Yuan Shikai usurped power and re-proclaimed himself emperor, and he directed and performed such a play, first pretending to accept the throne by the order of heaven, and then immediately resigning from the implementation of the constitutional monarchy and changing the name of the country to "Hong Xian".
In order to truly realize his dream of being an emperor, Yuan Shikai spent 400,000 oceans to build a dragon chair. And this dragon chair is a combination of East and West, and on the backrest there is a national emblem belonging to the Hongxian Empire.

On June 6, 1916, Yuan Shikai also died of illness, and soon after, the dragon chair that combined East and West disappeared. In 1959, cultural relics expert Zhu Jiaxuan rediscovered the dragon chair based on a photograph of the Taihe Temple.
