Chery said that the goal for the full year of 2022 is to guarantee sales of 1.5 million units and launch an impact on the milestone of 2 million units.

Chery's new energy vehicle performance last year was also very eye-catching. In 2021, Chery sold a total of 109028 new energy vehicles, an increase of 144.6% year-on-year. Among them, the total sales of the Small Ant model after four years on the market have exceeded 250,000, and the ice cream that opened pre-sale in July this year also received 70,000 orders during the half-year pre-sale period.

However, chip supply problems in the automotive industry have also affected Chery. Some media have found through visits to Chery 4S stores that many of Chery's new cars are not sold on hand, and it takes a month to wait for the car to pick up.

In addition to the pressure on the supply chain, the export business has also affected Chery's domestic car supply.

Since April 2021, Chery's monthly export volume has stabilized at about 20,000 units, and in 2021, Chery's export volume has reached 269,000 units, becoming the first brand in domestic passenger car exports for 18 consecutive years.
