The day after the incident, experts from Shaanxi Province and the Xi'an Municipal Health Commission identified the incident as a liability accident. On the 5th, Xi'an held a press conference on epidemic prevention and control, saying that no hospital can affect patient visits through epidemic prevention and control, and telephone services and green channels must be opened for special groups such as emergencies and pregnant women.
