Since Li Kuang, the King of Western Liang, was the sixteenth grandson of the Western Han Fei general Li Guang, and Li Yuan was also the seventh grandson of Li Kuan, Li Yuan also had great respect for Li Yuan's wife Lady Yin in the process of remembering his ancestors. Because Lady Yin believed in Buddhism, she ordered the construction of a temple on the basis of Lady Yintai of Wuwei, where Lady Yin once lived, and named Itai Temple to show her remembrance of Lady Yin.

The yintai temple is grand in scale and incense is exuberant, attracting countless literati and inkers, including cen shan, a famous tang dynasty poet. In March of the Tenth Year of Tianbao (751), Cen Shan visited Yintai Temple during the pear tree blossom season and composed a poem "Yintai Temple in Dengliang Prefecture": "In March and a half in Hudi, the pear blossoms begin to bloom today." Because of the meal from the old monk, more on the lady's stage. The oratorio clouds do not go, and the strings come. It should be loaded backwards, and it is like a mountain public return. During the Ming Dynasty, due to the need for war readiness, Lady Yin became a fortress for defending Liangzhou and resisting the remnants of the Yuan. Liu Lin of liangzhou hundred households led his subordinates to occupy Lady Yin's platform, taking the lead in a fierce battle with the enemy, and later died in Lady Yin's platform. After Liu Lin's sacrifice, the people of Liangzhou admired his spirit of sacrificing his life and forgetting death and defending his family and the country, so he renamed Lady Yin Tai as Liu Lintai as a memorial.

After the Wuwei earthquake in 1927, all the buildings on the platform were destroyed, and the Imperial Niangniangtai became incomplete. In 1985, Gansu Huangtai Qu Distillery built a factory in the south of the Ruins of Huangniangniangtai, and later rebuilt Yintai Temple in the factory. To some extent, this is also a kind of historical continuation. (End)
