Zhu Xi (1130-1200), also known as Obscure Weng, was born in Youxi, Nanjian Prefecture (present-day Youxi County, Fujian). A great integrator of Song Dynasty science, poet and philosopher. Zhu Xi was very knowledgeable and wrote a wealth of works, and he studied scripture, history, literature, music and even natural science. Quan Zuwang said in the "Case of Song Yuanxue" that he was "to the vast, as subtle as possible, and to the hundred generations", which is not a vain word of praise. The most important and influential of Zhu Xi's works, in addition to the "Notes on the Collection of Four Books", should be pushed "Zhu Wen GongWen Collection", "Zhu Zi Language Class", "Zhu Zi Family Ceremony".
Zhu Xi was also good at calligraphy and was famous for a while. Ming Tao Zongyi's "Book History Will Be Essential" Yun: "Zhu Zi continued to unify the Tao and enter the Sacred Realm, while Yu Hanmo also worked." Emperor MingTao said, "Zhu Zi continued to unify the Tao and entered the Sacred Realm, and Yu Hanmo also added merit." ...... The next pen is calm and elegant, although the pieces are inching, people are competing for treasures. The modern calligraphy theorist Ding Wenjun also commented in the "Essence of Calligraphy" that his book was "strong and condensed, quite important". Because Zhu Xi was a very famous scholar at that time, many disciples of the disciples asked Zhu Xi to write inscriptions on the secrets of his family, so that he had more opportunities to see many famous ink treasures during the Wei and Jin dynasties, the Tang and Song dynasties, and to learn from the Knowledge, to pick up the strengths of hundreds of families, and only in his later years did the calligraphy gradually improve. Zhu Xi's father, Zhu Song, was a good writer who benefited from Wang Anshi's body, and the words of Wang Anshi were almost distorted. Zhu Xi learned calligraphy with his father and was influenced by the art of calligraphy from an early age. In his youth, Zhu Xi was more interested in calligraphy, and he said to himself in the "Preface to the Stone Inscription of the Family Collection": "To give a few good ancient golden stone characters, the poor family cannot have their books, so they take the collection of Ouyang Zi at the time, look at their orders, and take pleasure in the words of dialectics. "All kinds of convenient conditions have made him a powerful calligrapher.
Ming Wang Shizhen said: "Guan Obscure Weng's writing is fast, he once had no intention of seeking work, and the dot painting is not in line with the rules of the calligrapher. This rigorous style of writing, which strictly abides by the laws of his predecessors, is a reflection of Zhu Xi's meticulous scholarly demeanor, and is also the reason why his calligraphy art has not reached a higher realm of "uniqueness". Zhu Xi wrote the list book, the pen gesture is majestic and solemn, the ancient clumsiness is very exciting, showing his profound calligraphy skills. Such as the italic list of books Mu Ai Tang carved stone, "Mu Ai Tang" three characters, flat square, rough stone height 94 cm, length 157 cm, Yu Zijun carved and trekked. The largest diameter of Zhu Xi's inscription on Zhu Xi Cliff is the "Shou" character on the stone wall of the Gushui Cave in Gushan Mountain, Fuzhou, with a word diameter of more than 3 meters. On the left front side of the pond on the north slope of the peak of Gushan Mountain, there are four characters of Zhu Xi's "Heavenly Wind and Sea Waves", which are written in letters and arranged vertically, each word is 48 cm longitudinal and 39 cm wide, and the total height of the inscription is 217 cm, and the width of the east and west is 60 cm. The fall is "Obscure for the Son Straight Book".

As Zhu Xi's reputation in the field of science grew, he "embraced the Tao's self-confidence and traveled with the arts" in his lectures in the four directions of the clouds, and when he was drunk after class, he recited poems and improvised books, especially reciting Zhuge Liang's "Table of Teachers", "and then the book, to give to friends".
