The world's first modular esports table concept design Project Sophia

Swegas (CES 2022) – Razer, a global player lifestyle trend brand ("Razer", Stock Code: 1337), today unveiled its vision for the future of gaming and home work, introducing the world's first esports desk concept design Project Sophia; and Razer Enki Pro HyperSense Aquaman Professional SuperSensitive Edition – an esports chair with built-in D-BOX high-fidelity haptic feedback. Created by Razer's future-proof R&D department, Project Sophia and Aquaman Pro Ultra Edition both introduce innovative solutions that comprehensively upgrade all home installations.

With working from home more common than ever, many people find it difficult to match devices for different usage scenarios throughout the day. From pure office productivity settings to gaming, movie watching, or editing video, each scene requires many different peripherals and devices to enhance the experience in that scenario.

With an ultra-adaptable modular design, users can quickly reconfigure their workspace to easily complete the tasks at hand – whether it's working via email and Word documents, heading to a destination in the game to crush enemies, or sharing great battle lives with viewers on the live streaming platform, Project Sophia offers a seamless solution for all challenges.

Fully modular and fully customizable

The key to Project Sophia's flexibility is a highly customizable gaming table that supports up to 13 individual modules for massive personalizations. This level of personalization allows each module to be specifically configured with components suitable for a specific set of use cases, such as auxiliary screens, displays, touchscreen hotkey panels, tablets and mixer units, and even support for external capture cards, allowing the player to reconfigure in seconds to fit another use case.

"Project Sophia is our vision for the future, a versatile gaming and workstation setup that meets the different needs of PC users without the need to move between different workspaces," said Richard Hashim, vice president of growth business at Razer. "The hot-swappable modular system allows users to quickly reconfigure their desktops with nearly limitless possibilities, allowing Project Sophia to not only tailor the task at hand, but also to match the user's specific preferences. This is the future of the workbench. "Integrated gaming table, performance monster.

Powered by custom PCBs, these modules are equipped with flagship core components, including the new Intel processor and NVIDIA GPUs, to support computationally demanding tasks. To maximize desktop space, all of these modules are housed in a slim magnetic enclosure. You can snap the chassis under the glass desktop, or you can easily remove it and install a new upgrade module.

Designed for all types of users, creators can plug in touchscreen digital dashboards, tablets, and creative input tools to simplify hotkeys and macros, while gamers can get high-fidelity sound and great visuals by adding a THX surround sound system and a high refresh rate display. Streamers can transform Project Sophia into a complete suite of live streaming devices with cameras, microphones, and live consoles, while those looking for a more productive work environment can multitask comfortably and efficiently using productivity hotkey modules, wireless chargers, and coffee cup warmers.

All-day comfort for the ultimate immersion experience

Also released was the Aquaman Pro Super Sense Edition, an advanced esports chair that combines high-fidelity touch to allow users to immerse themselves in a new dimension of the game. Based on the critically acclaimed Aquaman Pro Design, AquaManu Pro Ultra Edition is equipped with a haptic feedback unit developed in conjunction with D-BOX to provide the most realistic feedback while playing, while also equipped with a colorful RGB headrest that allows users to customize the chair more freely.

"With Aquaman Pro SuperSensitive Edition, Razer and D-BOX have built more advanced esports chairs to date," said Sébastien Mailhot, president and CEO of D-BOX. "Our joint efforts have been precipitated into a product that transforms the experience of games, movies and music on a sensory level through the use of cutting-edge, high-fidelity haptic feedback. Razer's unparalleled attention to detail and eye-catching design, as well as D-BOX's unparalleled experience in haptic technology, lay the foundation for the next generation of innovative home entertainment.

With native support for more than 2,200 games, movies, and music, including games like F1 2021, Forza Horizon 5, and Asssin's Creed Valhalla, players will not only feel every corner of the track, but will also get the experience of being in the gaming environment from the haptic feedback provided by the AquaManian Pro SuperSensitor Edition.

Even games that are not directly supported by the software can still be enjoyed by directly entering haptic feedback, generating physical feedback as the gamepad, keyboard, and mouse are entered.

Haptic feedback isn't limited to games, as multimedia consumption also benefits from an extra sense of immersion, which will be supported by many popular streaming platforms.

Audiences and listeners will enjoy a more immersive sense of three-dimensional surround, and various music, sound effects and soundtracks will also be felt physically.

The Aqua Pro SuperSensitive Edition is powered by an advanced haptic engine designed to simulate a range of vibrations, textures, and motion. It has 65,000 haptic variations, has a haptic feedback of +/- 1 G force, and can produce a vertical and backward tilt of 1.5 inches on your seat. Real-time sync ensures that all feedback is available immediately with response latency as low as 5ms.

The Aquaman Pro Super Sense Edition continues the award-winning features of the acclaimed previous model, the Aquaman.

It optimizes body contact points with a 22-inch extra-wide seat base, 100-degree shoulder arch and built-in waist arch, providing a more reasonable weight distribution while providing the ideal structure for a full range of ultra-sensory integration.

The end result is an esports chair that combines better haptic feedback with all-day comfort for a highly immersive, high-level gaming experience.
