Note: Luo Zhongyi, formerly known as Luo Zongyu, a native of Xiangyang, Hubei Province, chief of staff of the 2nd Detachment of the New Fourth Army, and a famous general of the War of Resistance. On November 28, 1941, he was martyred in a battle against the Japanese army in the Tangma area of Liyang County, Jiangsu Province, at the age of 34.

In September 2009, he was named one of the 100 heroic and exemplary figures who made outstanding contributions to the founding of New China.
