IT House January 6 news, driverless technology company Tucson Future and NVIDIA announced on January 4 that the two sides will deepen strategic cooperation, design and development of the next generation of driverless domain controllers specifically for the needs of L4 driverless truck scenarios.

In addition, the product will be equipped with NVIDIA's latest generation of autonomous vehicle system-level chip DRIVE Orin.

IT House understands that the DRIVE Orin SoC (System-on-Chip), capable of 254 trillion operations per second (254 TOPS), is the central computer for driverless vehicles.

Nvidia said that as the central computing unit of the unmanned system, the computing power of the unmanned domain controller (ADC) needs to reach thousands of TOPS to achieve critical tasks such as perception, planning and decision-making.
