CCTV News (News Network): At 6:59 today (January 6), after about 47 minutes of close cross-system coordination, the space station robotic arm transposition cargo spacecraft test was a complete success. This is the first time that China has used the space station robotic arm to operate a large orbiting vehicle for transposition tests.

After the robot arm successfully captured the Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft, the transposition test began at 6:12, and the Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft was unlocked and the core module of Tianzhou-2 began to separate. At 6:20, the separation of the two cabins was completed, and the Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft was dragged by the mechanical arm to make a plane transposition with the core capsule node capsule as the center of the circle.

After 8 minutes of reverse transposition operation, at 6:38, the Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft and the Tianhe core module met the re-docking conditions.

At 6:50, the end of the robotic arm separated normally from Tianzhou-2, and the docking mechanism began to pull back until 6:59, when Tianzhou-2 re-docked with the core cabin and completed the locking. This test preliminarily tests the feasibility and effectiveness of using the robotic arm to operate the transposition of the space station module, and verifies the transposition technology of the space station module and the large-load control technology of the robotic arm.
