Beijing, 5 Jan (China News Network) -- A reporter learned from the Ministry of Public Security on 5 January that last year the public security organs eradicated 16 pornographic websites involving minors, destroyed a number of pornography-related live broadcasting and network solicitation platforms such as the "small circle" APP and "Yuzu live broadcast," and seized more than 6,000 illegally controlled network cameras, stolen photographic equipment, and parts.

In 2021, public security organs investigated 62,000 cases of cybercrime such as infringement of citizens' personal information

In 2021, public security organs across the country will further promote the "Clean Net 2021" special action, focusing on prominent online crimes and network chaos that the public is concerned about. As of December last year, the public security organs had investigated and handled 62,000 cases, arrested 103,000 criminal suspects, and administratively punished more than 27,000 illegal Internet enterprises and units.

The network security departments of public security organs investigated and handled more than 18,000 key cases of infringement of citizens' personal information and hackers, smashed more than 6,000 service gangs that provided fund settlement, technical support, and drainage promotion for gambling, fraud and other crimes, investigated and dealt with more than 3,000 people who illegally invaded computer information systems and illegally obtained system data, and arrested more than 680 industry insiders.

In view of the important "crime materials" of the four types of cybercrime such as "black cards", "black numbers", "black lines" and "black equipment" produced by online black and gray, the public security organs insisted on tracing the source, digging up ghosts, investigating manufacturers, and cutting off platforms, arresting more than 30,000 criminal suspects such as "card merchants" and "number merchants", seizing more than 3 million black cards for mobile phones, seizing more than 10 million network black numbers, and seizing more than 10,000 black equipment such as "cat pools" and GOIP; in addition, they also warned and prevented more than 230 vicious cases such as hired murderers, kidnappings, and robberies.
