IT House understands that alienware x15 R2 is made of magnesium alloy, with a thickness of 15.9mm and a weight of 2.36 kg, which is not much different from last year's x15 R1.
In terms of configuration, the Alienware x15 R2 is equipped with Intel's 12th generation Alder Lake-H mobile processor, optional i7-12700H and i9-12900H, and graphics cards with optional RTX 3060, 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti. For thinning purposes, the x15 R2 comes with 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5 5200 memory and is not replaceable.
In terms of screen, the Alienware x15 R2 offers three 15.6-inch display options — FHD 165 Hz G-Sync, FHD 360 Hz G-Sync, and QHD 240 Hz G-Sync — all of which support Dolby Vision certification and Support Advanced Optimus.
In other respects, the Alienware x15 R2 still uses four fans for heat dissipation, equipped with a 1.5mm key range Alienware X series thin keyboard.
The Alienware x15 R2 will be available this winter at prices starting at $2,199 (about 14,007.63 yuan).
