Since July 2009, Chen Yan has served as the party secretary and director of Jindou Community in Yangzhong Street, Taijiang District and the chairman of the Women's Federation, fighting in the front line of serving the masses, always shining and quietly contributing to the construction of a harmonious and livable community with full enthusiasm for work, strong professionalism and a high sense of responsibility.
Be a good mass caring person
As the chairman of the community women's federation, Chen Yan has the courage to take action, measures the people's feelings in the community with her feet, often visits the homes of the women masses, pulls up family routines, talks about work, listens to the opinions of the masses, boldly tries ways to resolve new contradictions and new problems, and creatively carries out various work.
She always keeps the women's masses in mind, puts women's work into the important agenda of the community, builds a women's discussion platform that "speaks when there is something to say, help when there is a difficulty, and discuss when there is a problem", guides the women to participate in the management of community affairs and build a harmonious community.
She takes community women as a new force, excavates outstanding volunteers in community activity projects, sets up volunteer service teams such as "Colorful Storyteller Service Team" and "Iron Lady Volunteer Service Team", and leads volunteers to carry out activities such as tutoring public welfare lectures, garbage classification publicity, care and care for the elderly and widows, etc., with a sincere heart, adding a color to the construction of a beautiful home in the community.
Sincere service warms people's hearts
In order to enhance the effectiveness of the work and services of the community women's federation, Chen Yan led the cadres of the community women's federation to carry out activities to benefit the people, guide women to go out of their homes and participate in the cultural construction of the community; rely on the "party building supermarket platform" to issue "micro wishes" and lead the volunteer service team to help the vulnerable groups in the community; establish a mechanism to help women in difficulty, implement comprehensive coverage for women in need of help in the community, and serve the masses with heart and affection "zero distance". At the same time, she also integrated community resources and signed co-construction agreements with more than 50 co-construction units in the jurisdiction to provide legal aid services for special difficult groups in the community, subsidize children of families in difficulty, carry out gynecological disease censuses for women of childbearing age, and hold TCM health seminars to meet the diverse needs of women and children in the jurisdiction. She led the cadres of the community women's federation to warmly receive every visitor, so that the visit was recorded, the problem was replied to, the visit had the results, and the mediation rate reached 100%, effectively maintaining the harmony and stability of the community.
Over the years of hard work, Chen Yan has been affectionately called "the intimate person of the residents" and "the mother's family" by the residents of jindou community. Because of her outstanding work performance, she has been awarded the titles of Outstanding Communist Party Member of Fujian Province, Advanced Worker of Fujian Province, "Brilliant Talent of Fujian City", "March 8th Red Banner Bearer Pacesetter of Fuzhou City", and "Most Beautiful Community Worker of Fuzhou City". She was also honorably elected as a delegate to the 10th and 11th Party Congresses of Fuzhou City and a member of the 13th Fuzhou City Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Her Jindou community has been rated as the most beautiful volunteer service community in the country and the national harmonious demonstration community.
