Sima Yan, Emperor Wu of Jin

(1) Sima Yan, Emperor Wu of Jin (236–290 AD)

"Sima Zhao's heart is well known", Sima Zhao's intention was to give up the position of founding emperor to his son Sima Yan. Founding Emperor of the Jin Dynasty. He was the grandson of Sima Yi, the eldest son of Sima Zhao, and the father of the idiot emperor Sima Zheng. During Sima Yan's reign, four problems of scourge to Chinese civilization were left behind: First, the distribution of privileges to the clans led to the struggle of the gate valves to control the later China for nearly five hundred years, and it was not until the Tang Dynasty that the scholar class was completely eliminated. Second, the extravagant life in his later years led to the emptiness of the national treasury at the beginning of the emerging Jin Dynasty. Third, the abuse of imperial power, the wanton buying and selling of officials and knights, and the great title of prince directly led to the rebellion of the later Seven Kings. Finally, in the selection of the successor, he actually listened to rumors and set up an idiot son Sima Zheng, which later led to the Wuhu Chaos, so that the Han nation almost perished, and the land of China was eclipsed by the war for nearly three hundred years, the people were displaced, the casualties were even more uncountable, and the war continued until the unification of the Sui Dynasty.

An Lu Shan

(2) An Lushan (703-757 AD)

In the era of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, although the Tang Dynasty lost the war against the Western Regions, the losses were actually not large, and it could gather troops at any time to enter Central Asia. However, at this time, An Lushan, a fat man who was also a three-year envoy, Tang Xuanzong and Yang Yuhuan, rebelled in November 755. Because of the pressure of war, The Chinese civilization completely abandoned the Western Regions, and the Tang Dynasty began to turn from prosperity to decline. In the end, because of the civil unrest, the AnShi Rebellion was quelled by Li Guangbi, Guo Ziyi and so on. However, the consequences were very serious and could not be reversed, and the largest and most glorious capitals in the world at that time, Chang'an and Luoyang, all turned into a scorched earth of ruins, and the history books recorded that "in the middle of the qi, less than a thousand households..... The population is cut off, and the people are depressed for thousands of miles", that is to say, within a thousand miles of the capital, the population is less than a thousand households, which can be seen to be miserable; other places are even more depressed for thousands of miles, a desolate place, bringing disaster to hundreds of people, Dali Tubo Xixia and so on have taken advantage of the rise.

Genghis Khan Temujin

(3) Genghis Khan Temujin (1162-1227 AD)

Genghis Khan Temujin, unlike the previous two, was a true tyrant, an outstanding politician and military figure who was recognized in the history of the world as a once-in-a-millennium encounter. But what is to say is that because of his appearance, what positive significance is there for the pace of progress of Chinese civilization, that may only be a negative existence, so that Chinese civilization has regressed many years. After all, in the process of conquest, he and his descendants wreaked havoc, and it was a wanton destruction, slaughtering cities everywhere, and building very little at the same time, which was a great destruction to the development of Chinese culture. After the Song Dynasty retreated to Jiangnan, the Southern Song Dynasty remained the most splendid and largest economy in the world. But after the Yuan Dynasty unified China, the entire Yuan Dynasty had an unparalleled territory, ironically, the GDP was not as good as the southern Song Dynasty, which was destroyed, and the rulers just blindly bound the people's thoughts, almost wiping out the glorious culture of the Song Dynasty, and making Chinese civilization go back a hundred years. Until Zhu Yuanzhang overthrew the rule of the Yuan Dynasty and established the Ming Empire, many Song Dynasty cities were still in ruins, and they had not been able to slow down for nearly a hundred years.

After the death of the Xianfeng Emperor, Cixi joined forces with Ci'an and Prince Gong Yi to launch a coup d'état, eliminating the eight ministers of Gu Ming, led by Su Shun. Since then, Cixi has become an important political figure in the late Qing Dynasty and the de facto ruler of China. After Tongzhi died in Hualiu, Cixi chose his nephew to succeed him, the Guangxu Emperor, and after Ci'an's death, Cixi deposed the allied Prince Gong Yi and began to monopolize power. In 1889, under pressure, he returned to Guangxu and retired to the Summer Palace, but only nine years later, he launched the Wushu coup, killed the six gentlemen of Wushu, imprisoned Guangxu, and became the de facto ruler of China again. China fell into a century of humiliation under the rule of Cixi, the Eight-Power Alliance, the Sino-Japanese War, and the Xinugu Treaty, all of which brought endless disasters to Chinese culture, and have not yet eased up.
