According to Samsung, the 2022 The Frame wall TV features a matte, anti-reflective display that feels like a canvas or paper.

One of the big improvements is the anti-reflective display, with The Frame being able to match the white balance and brightness of the artwork based on the ambient lighting in the room.

It is understood that the 2022 The Frame will be available in seven different sizes, starting from a small 32 inches to a large 85-inch screen. As for the technical specifications of the TV itself, it sounds similar to last year, providing 4K HDR images with an extended quantum dot palette, a variable refresh rate of 120Hz, but lacking high-end TV features such as full-array local dimming, and still no Dolby Vision.

Pricing, release information, and more detailed technical specifications for the 2022 The Frame Series should be made public when they go on sale in the coming months.

In addition, Samsung recently released the M8 smart display, equipped with a 32-inch 4K screen, support as a smart home central control, as well as cloud gaming. According to the official introduction, the M8 smart display is similar to the model currently on sale and can provide smart TV-like features, including providing access to streaming applications.

Samsung has also integrated the SmartThings IoT Hub into the M8, where users can view floor plans of various smart devices and control them directly from the smart display. Samsung says M8 also has a new feature called Workspace that collects work-related web services into an intuitive hub.

Another new feature of the display is Game Home, which turns the M8 into a cloud gaming monitor. Samsung says users will be able to stream games from the game streaming service using the M8, and even connect a wireless gamepad to it. Samsung hasn't announced the price and release date of the monitor, and we're expected to see it at CES 2022, so let's wait and see.

Incidentally, Samsung announced in advance the upcoming world's first gaming display "Odyssey Neo G8" that supports 4K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and features a miniLED panel.

The display is equipped with a quantum miniLED panel, which is only about 1/40 of the thickness of the LED, and supports Samsung's exclusive picture quality control technology Quantum Matrix (quantum matrix), with a maximum brightness of up to 2000nits, reaching the level of Quantum HDR 2000, which can be subdivided into 4096 levels (12-bit).

There's also CoreSync technology, which automatically recognizes screen colors, comparable to backlighting and color.

In terms of interfaces, the Odyssey Neo G8 is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 and a DisplayPort 1.4 interface.
