However, before reporting to the official's family, a Taoist priest heard about this matter and came to visit this "big rooster." At this sight, the Taoist priest immediately said that it was not a rooster at all, but another breed, and its name was called the plover. It is said that when the owl appears, there will be great turmoil in the country.
Combined with the turbulent political situation of the Ming Dynasty at that time, it can be roughly determined that the Ming Dynasty is afraid that its fate will soon be over. Not long after, Li Zicheng broke into the Ming Imperial Palace, and the Chongzhen Emperor was hanged from a crooked neck tree. Of course, the so-called falcon is a teaser, but it is just a casual remark of a Taoist priest.
One of the important reasons why the Ming Dynasty was destroyed at the hands of the Chongzhen Emperor was internal and external troubles. Within the Ming Dynasty, the imperial court was divided into several parties, and Gui was the emperor of a country, but Chongzhen could not fully control the government. As far as the outside of the Ming Dynasty was concerned, there was both the invasion of the Jin army and the menacing presence of Li Zicheng.
