Since 1996, the Beijing New Year Concert, which is staged on time at the end of the year and at the beginning of the year, has become an indispensable sense of ceremony for many audiences on New Year's Eve. Affected by the epidemic last year, the New Year's concert was changed to online, and this year, this music agreement returned to the theater. In the first half, the orchestra played a number of polka ballades by Johann Strauss Jr., as well as the third movement of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 and Alberto Ginastra's "South American Ranch Suite" and other festive classics. He also embraced a pipa in his arms, leading the audience from China to the bright and hot Spain, to the Arab region, to India, to Japan... In the plucked strings, the distinctive style of music connects a moving journey to the world. Fang Jinlong's witty remarks often make the audience laugh, for example, someone once asked him, why do you love the lute the most? In the unceasing applause, Fang Jinlong and the orchestra returned to the scene three times and performed "Send You a Rose", "Beijing Good News to bianzhai" and "Radesky March".
At the end of the whole performance, the clock will soon point to 22:00 at night, but above the Beijing Exhibition Center Theater, the touch and cheer brought by the music will last for a long time, once again witnessing the opening of the New Year.
