Among them, there were 60 imported cases (26 cases in Shanghai, 7 cases in Guangxi, 6 cases in Guangdong, 5 cases in Inner Mongolia, 4 cases in Beijing, 2 cases in Tianjin, 2 cases in Fujian, 2 cases in Henan, 2 cases in Yunnan, 1 case in Zhejiang, 1 case in Shandong, 1 case in Sichuan, 1 case in Shaanxi), including 7 cases from asymptomatic infected people to confirmed cases (3 cases in Guangxi, 2 cases in Guangdong, 1 case in Henan, and 1 case in Sichuan), 101 cases in local cases (92 cases in Shaanxi, including 90 cases in Xi'an City, 1 case in Xianyang City, 1 case in Yan'an City, and 9 cases in Zhejiang, all in Ningbo City). There were no new deaths. There were no new suspected cases.
On the same day, 47 new cured and discharged cases were cured and discharged, 4,027 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the number of severe cases increased by 6 over the previous day.
There are 850 confirmed cases imported from overseas (including 3 severe cases), and there are no existing suspected cases. The cumulative number of confirmed cases is 11,259, the cumulative number of cured and discharged cases is 10,409, and there are no deaths.
As of 24:00 on January 2, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 3,127 confirmed cases (including 22 severe cases), 94,903 cured and discharged cases, 4,636 cumulative deaths, 102666 confirmed cases, and no existing suspected cases. A total of 1431026 close contacts have been traced, and 42,313 close contacts are still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 35 new cases of asymptomatic infection, including 31 cases imported from abroad and 4 cases from the mainland (3 cases in Henan, including 2 cases in Xuchang City and 1 case in Luoyang City; 1 case in Shanghai, in Yangpu District); 7 cases were converted to confirmed cases on the same day (all imported from abroad); 16 cases were released from medical observation on the same day (14 cases imported from abroad); and 562 cases of asymptomatic infected people who were still under medical observation (529 cases imported from abroad).
A total of 29,813 confirmed cases were reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, there were 12,664 cases in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region[1] (12,214 cases discharged from hospital, 213 deaths), 79 cases in Macao Special Administrative Region (77 cases discharged from hospital), and 17,070 cases in Taiwan Region (13,742 cases discharged from hospital, 850 deaths).
[1] Revised data. A few days ago, Hong Kong announced that it intends to collect daily epidemic information according to confirmed, asymptomatic and Fuyang statistics. According to the new classification method, as of January 2, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Hong Kong was 12,664.
