When asked about the situation inside the Japanese puppet army, he only confessed some insignificant information, and when he mentioned classified information, he said he did not know.
In order to find out his details, the public security bureau first arranged for him to be put down, and at the same time made a report to the superiors, after research, the superiors decided to conduct a comprehensive investigation of Xia Chuanzhang, and at the same time gave him back guns, temporarily arranged for him to work in the public security bureau, and sent reliable comrades to Yanzhou, where he lived before, to check his old bottom.
After Xia Chuanzhang entered the political guard, it did not take long for him to reveal the fox's tail, spy on the intelligence of the base area four times, and even wanted to "interrogate" the traitor Miao Detang alone, but the result was discovered on the spot, and the plot failed to succeed. At this time, the comrades who had inquired about Xia Dixi from Yanzhou also returned, and Xia Chuanzhang was indeed "surrendered" in disguise, but in fact he was instructed by the Japanese to try to rescue Miao Detang and wait for an opportunity to assassinate our senior leading cadres.
However, in order to continue to investigate the specific situation, our side did not immediately arrest Xia Chuanzhang, but confiscated his weapons and let him work in other departments. Sensing that we were aware of his plot, he fled in a hurry. But he did not dare to return directly to Yanzhou, so he went to Surabaya County and defected to the captain of the Japanese military police there.
Since Xia Chuanzhang was desperately fighting for Rikou and could not be saved, in order to get rid of him, we were also determined to kill him with a plan. Not long after, our armed engineering team captured an enemy intelligence dealer, who had also provided intelligence for our side before, but because he was greedy for money and profits, it was unprofitable to provide intelligence for our army, so he completely defected to the Japanese and the hypocrites.
After being captured by our army this time, he vigorously denied his own experience, claiming that he had not done anything to apologize for the great national righteousness and ancestral work. My public security officer then pretended to still trust him, and handed him a "secret letter" written to Xia Chuanzhang, asking him to bring the letter with him.
