Anqing
The Eastern Jin Dynasty poet Guo Pu once called "this place is suitable for the city",
Therefore, Anqing is also nicknamed "Yicheng".
During the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, Anqing was the seat of the ancient Anhui State, and the abbreviation of Anhui Province is derived from this. In the seventeenth year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty, the Shuzhou Deqing Army was changed to the Shuzhou Anqing Army, and "Anqing" was named after it.
Anqing is located in the southwest of Anhui Province, on the north bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, at the mouth of the Anhui River, west of Hubei, south of Jiangxi, northwest of the main peak of Dabie Mountain, southeast of the Huangshan Yumai.
Anqing is known as the "State of Culture" and "the Hometown of Drama". It is the place where famous stories such as "Peacock Flying Southeast", "Big Joe Little Joe", "One Step Without Crossing the Thunder Pool", "Six Foot Lane" and so on take place.
This is the hometown of the "Tongcheng Sect",
It is the cradle of huiban growth represented by Cheng Changgeng, the originator of Peking Opera.
It is the place where Huangmei opera has developed and grown.
About Huangmei drama
Huangmei opera, formerly known as Huangmei tune and tea picking drama, originated in Huangmei, Hubei Province, and developed and expanded in Anqing, Anhui.
At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the tea picking tune around Huangmei County in Hubei Province was introduced to the adjacent Huaining County in Anhui Province and other regions, combined with local folk art, and sung and chanted in the Anqing dialect, and gradually developed into a new type of opera drama, which was called Huai Lu or Huai Tune at that time, which was the early Huangmei opera.
Later, Huangmei Opera borrowed from the music, performances and repertoire of Qingyang Cavity and Emblem Tune, and began to perform "This Play". After more than 100 years of development, With Anqing as the center, Huangmei opera has become the main local opera drama in Anhui and a well-known large drama in the country.
There are many well-known excellent plays in Huangmei opera, and the most representative ones are "Tianxian Match", "Female Pony", "Cowherd Weaver Girl", "Husband and Wife Watching lights", "Playing Pig Grass", "Spinning Cotton Yarn" and so on.

01 Huating Lake Scenic Area
Huating Lake is located in Taihu County, located in the southern foothills of Dabie Mountain and the north bank of the Yangtze River, with a scenic area of 198 square kilometers. The main attractions are Longshan Mountain, Huating Lake, Xifeng Cave, Fotu Temple, Lion Mountain, Haihui Temple and so on. Huating Lake has beautiful landscapes, strange rocks, layers of greenery, and a variety of shapes, and there are 16 peaks above 800 meters above sea level.

02 Tianzhu Mountain
Tianzhu Mountain is the source of Anhui, a national 5A-level tourist area, a global geopark, a national forest park, the earliest five mountains in China(Ancient Nanyue), and one of the three famous mountains in Anhui Province (Huangshan, Jiuhuashan, Tianzhu Mountain). The main scenic area of Tianzhu Mountain covers an area of 82.46 square kilometers, divided into 8 scenic spots and 3 peripheral scenic spots, with 45 peaks, 17 ridges, 18 cliffs, 22 caves, 86 strange rocks, 18 waterfalls, and 17 springs. The main attractions are Liandan Lake, Feilai Peak, Tianzhu Peak, Xuejiagang Ancient Cultural Site, Longtan River, Sanzu Zen Temple, Shiniu Ancient Cave, Mysterious Valley, Datianmen and so on.
03 Vibrand
Located in the Yingjiang Temple in Anqing City, it is named "Zhenfeng", which means "to vibrate the style of literature". Zhenfeng Tower stands next to the river, enjoying the reputation of "the first tower of the Yangtze River" and "passing through Anqing without saying the tower".
04 Anqing Ling lake scenic spot
Linghu Scenic Area is located in Anqing City, northeast of the old city, with a total area of 4.496 square kilometers. It includes four scenic spots of Linghu Park, Lianhu Park, Anhui River Park and Anqing Wanjiang Square, which are composed of five lakes, namely Linghu, Lianhu, Xiaolinghu, East Lake and West Lake, and its Middle East Lake and West Lake are called Big Lake. The heavy eaves square pavilion hidden in the depths of the green lotus is also known as the night moon pavilion in order to enjoy the "Night Moon of Ling Lake".
05 Harrier Landing
Harrier Luoping National Nature Reserve is a demonstration national nature reserve aimed at protecting biodiversity in Dabie Mountainous Area and conserving the water source of the HuaiHe River. Located in the main peak of Dabie Mountain, the ecological environment is very rich, there are more than 60 peaks above 1000 meters above sea level in the area, of which the tip and multi-branch tip are up to 1750 meters, which are the second and third peaks of Dabie Mountain. The weather is endless, the forest sea, the sea of clouds, the sea of fog, the beauty and grandeur.
06 Little Lonely Mountain
Xiaogushan mountain is an independent mountain in the Yangtze River sixty kilometers southeast of susong county in Anhui Province. Around 1 mile, 78 meters above sea level. The form is peculiar, and the lone peak stands tall. It is known for its strangeness, danger, independence and loneliness. "Looking at the Taishi chair in the east, looking at a pen in the south, looking at the hanging bell in the west, and looking at the heavenly dragon in the north" is its most vivid description. On the mountain, there are monuments such as Kaixiu Temple and Dressing Pavilion. Because of its very dangerous terrain, it is a place where soldiers of all generations must fight.
07 Boulder Mountain
Jushi Mountain is the remnant of Dabie Mountain, the original ecology of the scenic spot is well preserved, and it is known for the "five musts" of Qifeng, Xiushui, Shenshi, Youdong and Magnolia. There are 48 peaks, 36 valleys, 81 stones and 72 cave attractions such as Dragon Head Peak, Divine Ape Heaven, Weaver Girl Peak, Heavenly Earth, Luohan Peak, Penglai Three Immortals, Liyue Dragon Gate, Qianlong Cave Heaven, Wind Moving Stone, Weilong Cave, etc.

01 Yongsan wonton chicken
The chicken is tender and delicious, with strong game. Yixiu District traditionally adds handmade ravioli to the old chicken soup, so that the wontons can absorb the umami taste of chicken soup, which is very distinctive.
02 Mozi crisp
Mozi crisp sesame seeds are made of Wangjiang special oil hemp, and the aroma is strong. The stone ground sesame seeds inherited from the teacher Fu are rich in flavor, soft and delicate, sweet and refreshing, and melt in the mouth.
03 Mountain flour dumplings
The braised balls are put into the prepared braised meat and stir-fried with its soup, the braised meat is sautéed with sesame oil to produce oil, dripped into the soy sauce to color, with green onion and ginger, salt and small heat can be simmered, the finished product is red and sweet, and the entrance is flexible.

06 Jiangmao dumplings

07 Namdaemun beef buns
The beef is minced and mixed with Anqing old tofu. In the dream, a thousand times, back to Anqing, to the Great South Gate, is to eat. The Great South Gate beef bun, with large filling, thin skin, fried golden on both sides, takes a bite, and the "Great South Gate" flavor that is also spicy and fresh and fragrant is also hot, and it spills straight into the heart.
