On January 1, some Weibo netizens broke the news that the propaganda posters of three squirrels were suspected of violating the law. On the poster, two Young Pioneers wear red scarves, one of them performs the Young Pioneer salute, and the other holds a snack gift package of "5 years of anti-deception, 3 years of brain replenishment". The poster reads in traditional characters that read, "The spring breeze of reform is blowing all over the ground, and there is nothing wrong with eating more than may three."
In this regard, some netizens said: "Always playing the edge ball, is it challenging the bottom line of consumers?" Some netizens joined the welfare group of the official flagship store of the three squirrels, saying: "I will not buy it again in the future." ”

Chen Liang, a lawyer at Hubei Hao law firm, believes that the use of the image of the Young Pioneers and the red scarf logo in the poster is contrary to the regulations on the use of relevant symbols issued by the National Committee for Young Workers, but it cannot be called illegal. In addition, according to Article 14 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the National Common Language and Writing, the words used for signboards and advertisements shall be used in the national common language as the basic pragmatic characters, unless the traditional characters carried by monuments, ancient buildings, etc. can be retained or used, and the use of traditional characters in business posters is suspected of violating the law.
Lawyer Chen Liang believes that the punishment of administrative acts is time-limited. According to Article 36 of the Administrative Punishment Law, if the illegal act is not discovered within two years, no administrative punishment will be given; where it involves the life, health and safety of citizens, financial security and has harmful consequences, the above-mentioned period shall be extended to five years. But that doesn't mean businesses can't take the initiative to rectify and apologize.
