After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the founding major general was made a "first-class cripple" because of his injuries.

A few days ago, he introduced the founding major general Peng Longfei, nicknamed "Three-Finger General", and only three fingers were left in one pair of hands, and after the founding of the People's Republic of China, he was assessed as a "first-class First-class disability".

The founding major general introduced today, also surnamed Peng, was more seriously injured than Peng Longfei and was assessed as a "first-class cripple" after the founding of the People's Republic of China.

This major general is the famous "one-armed general" Peng Shousheng.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the founding major general was made a "first-class cripple" because of his injuries.

Peng Shousheng and Peng Longfei are both from Jiangxi, and both were born in 1915 and are of the same age.

Peng Shousheng and Peng Longfei were both born into poor families, but Peng Shousheng's childhood was even more unfortunate, his parents died when he was 7 years old, and he survived by herding cattle for the landlord's family.

In 1930, the Red Army came to Peng Shousheng's hometown of Pingxiang, Jiangxi, and Peng Shousheng, who could not bear the exploitation of landlords, resolutely joined the Red Army, and this year, he was only 15 years old.

However, the road to revolution was far more arduous than Peng Shousheng imagined, and after the defeat of the fifth "anti-encirclement and suppression" campaign in 1934, Peng Shousheng's Red Third Army encountered several times the enemy army on the way through the breakthrough, and the troops suffered heavy casualties, and Peng Shousheng was also seriously injured and transferred to the rear hospital of the Red Army in Kowloon.

Although it is nominally called a "hospital", it is actually a cave, and the so-called "hospital bed" is only temporarily built of wood. What's more, the medical supplies here are extremely scarce, and the disinfection tools can only be replaced by salt water boiled out of coarse salt, so many wounded people have retreated, but Peng Shousheng bravely underwent surgery, not even using anesthesia.

After recovering from his wounds, the main force of the Red Army had already set off on the Long March, and Peng Shousheng had to follow the remaining guerrillas to continue to fight the enemy. However, due to the betrayal of the traitors, Peng Shousheng's company was surrounded, and when they broke out, only about 30 people were left in the entire company. In desperation, Peng Shousheng could only lead everyone to wugong mountain to fight guerrillas.

This fight is exactly 3 years.

During this period, Peng Shousheng met the enemy face-to-face several times, and the most thrilling experience was also the classic example of his single-handedly breaking into the enemy's camp at night and winning more with less without bloodshed.

In the winter of 1935, Peng Shousheng's troops prepared to attack the enemy district office at night, but just as they were halfway through the march, they were suddenly blocked by the county security regiment. Obviously, it is impossible to go around, and it is not possible to make much movement in the fight, otherwise once the enemy area office is alarmed, the plan will be in vain.

What's more troublesome is that there are more than 300 people in the county security regiment, while Peng Shousheng and his party only have more than 30 people, and if they really have to fight hard, I am afraid it will be difficult to get out!

Peng Shousheng was in a hurry, grabbed a member of the security group, changed into his clothes, and mixed in.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the founding major general was made a "first-class cripple" because of his injuries.

Coincidentally, it was just in time for dinner, and the security regiment rushed up to grab food, and the weapons were casually thrown on the ground, and Peng Shousheng quietly moved the weapons together and hid them.

At this time, the chief of the security regiment felt that something was wrong, so he came over and asked Peng Shousheng who he was.

Peng Shousheng was calm and said that he was a new sentry. The commander did not believe it, let people arrest him, Peng Shousheng saw that the time had come, shouted, and the Red Army soldiers who were ambushed around rushed in, shouting not to move.

At this time, the security regiment was holding a nest head in its hand, where did it dare to move? In this way, 30 soldiers captured more than 300 people without bloodshed!

After solving the security regiment, Peng Shousheng led his troops to go straight to the enemy area office with a single blow and put it down in one fell swoop.

Of course, the war was brutal, and during the Battle of Huangqiao in October 1940, Peng Shousheng was seriously injured again, and even had his right arm amputated, becoming a "one-armed general".

At that time, the Nationalist Han Deloitte attacked Huangqiao with more than 30,000 troops, while the new Fourth Army garrison was only 7,000 people. At the beginning of the battle, the New Fourth Army suffered heavy losses, the regimental commander Li Mingdong was seriously injured, and several battalion-level cadres were also killed one after another, and Peng Shousheng could only be ordered to take unified command on the verge of danger.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the founding major general was made a "first-class cripple" because of his injuries.

Soon, Peng Shousheng was also shot several times, his right arm was shaken by bullets, and his subordinates hurried over to bandage him, but the war was urgent, Peng Shousheng did not have time to bandage, and he felt that his right arm was in the way, and he actually used his left hand to tear down his right arm hard, casually threw it on the ground, and continued to command everyone to charge...

Think about that scene, don't say that you have experienced it yourself, it hurts to think about it!

It wasn't until after the battle that Peng Shousheng was taken to the hospital, and the doctor saw his bloody right arm and exclaimed, "How did you survive!" ”

Because the time of severed arm is too long, it is impossible to connect the right arm, so Peng Shousheng had to undergo amputation surgery and became a "one-armed general".

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Peng Shousheng served as chief of staff of the Tianjin Municipal Police Headquarters, deputy commander of the Shanxi Provincial Military Region, and was awarded the title of founding major general.

However, because of the accumulation of labor, Peng Shousheng's health was very bad, and he had to leave his post in 1965 to recuperate.

However, after leaving his job, Peng Shousheng was not idle, often going to report to various schools and factories, and did not charge any fees.

On June 19, 1993, General Peng Shousheng died at the age of 78.
