Ai Xin Jueluo Puren was the half-brother of Puyi, the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty, and his father was Zaifeng, the second generation of the Prince of Alcohol. Zaifeng and the Guangxu Emperor of the Qing Dynasty were half-brothers, and their fathers were both Ai Xinjue Luo Yizhen, so PuRen called the Guangxu Emperor Uncle and Yi Zhen Grandpa. Yi Zhen's concubine Fujin was Empress Dowager Cixi's sister Yehenara Wanzhen, and nominally PuRen was supposed to give Cixi the title of grandmother.
According to the terms of the Qing Emperor's abdication, all the people of the Aixin Jueluo family changed their surnames after Puyi abdicated, so Puren also changed his name. His current name is Kim You-chi, which is also the name on his ID card. Although Puren is a descendant of the clan, he has always adhered to his principle of being a man: he must become a self-supporting laborer. Pu devoted his life to education. From 1947, the 29-year-old Pu Ren ran a non-compete primary school, where he taught until his retirement at the age of 70.
After the founding of New China, Puren was indifferent to fame and fortune, and repeatedly donated the valuable cultural relics of his family to the state, such as the golden seal of the Alcohol King's Palace and the Twenty-Four History. In his later years, Pu Ren also set up a Friendship Scholarship to support poor children in ethnic schools, and the source of funds was all based on his own calligraphy and painting works. Puren died at 3:00 p.m. on April 10, 2015 at the age of 97.
