In large international competitions, many ice and snow powers will provide special waxing vehicles for their competitors. The development and production of snow wax vehicles has been a blank in China in the past. At the end of 2020, Liaoyuan City, our province, undertook the task of developing domestic snow wax vehicles, and they gave full play to the advantages of Jilin ice and snow equipment manufacturing industry, raced against the clock, worked hard, and completed the development of snow wax vehicles in less than a year.
The snow wax car developed by our province mainly serves the snow project in the Yanqing Racing Area of Beijing, and the front of the car adopts FAW Jiefang's latest J7 as the traction. The carriage is made entirely of aluminum alloy, and the high-speed rail carriage forming technology is adopted in the main structure, which has good overall rigidity, corrosion resistance, and the quality of the maintenance is more than 4 tons lighter than that of steel products. The total length of the carriage is 13.7 meters, both sides of the carriage can be expanded, after unfolding, the usable area of the carriage reaches 62.1 square meters, which is divided into four areas: work area, rest area, living assistance area and equipment area. A total of 114 pairs of skis of various specifications can be stored. The waxing area can be used for four people to wax at the same time. There is a water supply and exhaust system in the car, and the number of air changes per hour is not less than 10 times. The exhaust system in the waxing area is the upper suction and lower drainage. There is a monitoring system outside the car, and there is an external environment display and a live broadcast display of the race.
The successful development of the snow wax car fully demonstrates the ability and level of the equipment manufacturing industry and sports industry in Jilin Province, and the use of the snow wax car will also be directly related to the performance of the athletes.
