After the Han Dynasty and before the Jin Dynasty, China also had a special historical period, that is, the Three Kingdoms Era. According to the division, the Three Kingdoms era began with Cao Pi forcing Emperor Xian of Han to take the throne in 220 AD, and ended with Sima Yan forcing Emperor Yuan of Wei to take the throne in 266 AD. However, in the division of people's general impressions, the Three Kingdoms Era began from the outbreak of war and chaos in the Yellow Turban Rebellion in the first year of the Han Ling Emperor Zhongping (184). According to the division of the latter, the entire Three Kingdoms era was really an era of competition for hegemony and great masters.
There are Guo Jia, Zhuge Liang, Xun Yu, Fazheng, Zhou Yu, Lu Xun, and so on, and all countries have their own outstanding strategists, and there are countless of them. There are also many famous generals, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Ma Chao, Xu Chu, Zhang Liao, Xiahou Huan, Zhang Xiu, Jiang Wei, etc., are also like carp across the river. However, to say who ranks first among these strategists and famous generals is really a matter of ten thousand readers and ten thousand Hamlets. However, although the sequences are different, there are two people who are always at the top, they are Lü Bu and Zhao Yun.
Lü Bu's arm strength is superior, known as the "flying general", and Cao Cao's sentence "Lü Bu is not a single person can win" has laid the impression that Lü Bu's martial arts were invincible in the early Three Kingdoms period. Zhao Yun, who has followed Liu Bei for nearly thirty years, is also an extremely powerful general in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and has not won or lost the battle with Wen Ugly for sixty rounds. After thirty rounds of battle against Xu Chu, there was no difference between victory and defeat, and being surrounded by Cao Cao's 830,000 troops could still break through the siege, and there was quite a bit of a posture of being able to open up.
However, we know that "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is only a novel of interpretation, and it is not a correct history. It is slightly exaggerated for many military generals and matters, and if you want to read the real history of the Three Kingdoms, you still have to read the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and "Zizhi Tongjian" and other canonical histories. Chronicle of the Three Kingdoms, one of the Twenty-Four Histories, written by the Western Jin Dynasty historian Chen Shou. So in the main history, among the many famous generals, who is the most powerful? Many readers who have read the history of Zhengshi said that Lü Bu was not his opponent, and Zhao Yun had to take a detour when he saw him.
Nian Er crossed the horse to fight the enemy, the same vendetta, Zhuang bi Wen Duan, brave with Li Dare. This person was Wen Duan, who was a famous general in the late Jin Dynasty and early Jin Dynasty, and his father was Cao Wei Yangzhou Assassin Shi Wenqin. In the post-Three Kingdoms period, the military strength of the warlords had a significant decline, and the results were not ideal. Wen Duan was the most heroic general in the post-Three Kingdoms era, Zhao Yun's seven in and seven out were the artistic processing of novels, but Wen Duan really had a record of one person against ten thousand armies.
Wen Duan was a fellow countryman of the Cao Wei clan, so he was particularly loved by Cao Shuang during his lifetime, but later Cao Shuang and Cao Rui died of illness. The whole country was handed over to an eight-year-old child, Cao Fang, and Sima Yi was given the opportunity to usurp power, after the Gaopingling Incident. The power of the Cao Wei clan basically disappeared, Wen Duan suddenly lost his patron, and in the sixth year of Jiaping (254), Wu Qiu Jian raised an army to serve the king. Eighteen-year-old Wen Duan accompanied his father, and when Sima Shi came to Lejia, Wen Duan, who was still a teenager, was not afraid at all.
He and his father were killed in two ways, and Sima Shi, who was sick and went out on the expedition, was shocked, and his wounded eyes burst out in fright. After waiting for Wen Duan to clamor all night, he saw that Wen Qin had not yet come, so he had to retreat. But he was not reconciled, and on the eve of the retreat, he took a dozen people and killed all the enemy troops. Invincible, flaunting his might, killing and injuring more than a hundred people before leaving. Six or seven times in and out, the pursuing horse did not dare to get close, and Sima Shi died soon after.
However, no matter how powerful he was, it was useless, and the Sima family had already controlled the entire Cao Wei Dynasty at that time, and only one name was left to become emperor. How could Qiu Jian and Wen Qin resist, and sure enough, they were defeated, and the Wen Duan brothers returned to the Sima family of Cao Wei. In March of the third year of Xianning (277), Wen Duan was also ordered to fight for the Western Jin Dynasty against the bald tree function of the bald and humble chieftain. Only the military strength of Liang, Qin, and Yongzhou, and the function of the bald tree were greatly broken, so that 200,000 people of the Hu tribe surrendered.
With this battle, Wen Duan became famous all over the world, but unfortunately he was not reused. Because Sima Yan did not like him, he casually found an excuse to dismiss him as an official, and then the Rebellion of the Eight Kings broke out. Sima Miao, the king of Dong'an, was the grandson of Zhuge Tian, and hated Wen Duan for betraying Zhuge Yan and slandering Wen Duan for plotting rebellion. A generation of famous generals, under several slanders, was wiped out of the three tribes. But his story has been passed down, perhaps when Luo Guanzhong created the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it was inspired by Wen Duan that Zhao Yun went in and out of seven.
