The power of the city is in the hands of the Japanese, and they naturally will not sweep it, but living in the city, is it safe to be a Japanese submissive? Of course not, in the city, the Japanese would still kill people at will, and even kill the people who helped them, but the methods and methods were different.
The tragic case that occurred in Feicheng, Shandong Province, in 1943 is a typical example.
One day in March 1943, Hamano, the leader of the Japanese Kou Gendarmerie Unit stationed in Tai'an, led a group of gendarmes into the office of the Feicheng Simple Teacher's School and took the 29-year-old principal Ran Dingyu away, saying that he was going to hold a small meeting of the Japanese Kou garrison in Feicheng, but in fact the Japanese Kou gendarmes arrested him in the name of passing through the anti-Japanese army.
Then, in the name of the meeting, the Japanese Kou took away zhu Zhongwu, the president of the pseudo-peasant association and director of the office of the ninth district of Feicheng, the old gentleman, Yin Xiazuo, the mayor of the pseudo-eighth district, and Fan Peixuan, the mayor of the pseudo-fifth district. After they were taken to the garrison, nothing happened, and they were detained with Ran Dingyu on charges of fornicating with anti-Japanese soldiers.
At ten o'clock in the morning of the same day, Hamano again ordered martial law and the closure of the city gates, and then ordered the puppet police and Japanese soldiers to go out together to surround the peasant association, the Chamber of Commerce, and the joint office of the Ninth District, and tied up all the staff and workers of the office, and even Shi Binpu, a citizen who came to the office to visit the office, was also tied up and escorted to the security force to be locked up.
At about 12 noon, Bino ordered Li Chuanzhen, the mayor of the pseudo-first district, to send people to dig more than 60 pits outside the north gate, and at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, about 60 people in custody were tied up with five flowers and led by a rope to the north gate. When the detainees arrived, they knelt at the edge of the pit, ripped off their collars, and had their swords drawn from hamano's hands, cutting off their heads, and then stabbing the corpses into the pit, and Hamano cut one, soaking the knife in the water for a while, and then cutting another one. Zhu Zhongwu, Ran Dingyu, Yin Xiazuo, and Shi Binpu were killed one after another. Wang Guanwu and Wu Yindong were escorted back to Tai'an by Hamano.
A month later, Wang and Wu were sent back, but none of them survived, Wang Guanwu was already dying when he arrived home, and he died soon, and Wu Yindong had died quite strongly on the way home. According to the givers, both of them were poisoned by the Japanese.
