Each has its own Chang'an
If the splendid history of 5,000 years has given China a unique cultural treasure, then the prosperous Chang'an of the Tang Dynasty is the most brilliant pearl among them. Throughout the ages, it is the golden dreamland of countless literati and inkers wandering in the middle of the night, and it is also the epitome and portrayal of the guardianship of the national soul of every Chinese people in the past dynasties.
It can be said that everyone has their own Chang'an City in their hearts.
In MengJiao's eyes, it was the endless pleasure of seeing the Chang'an flowers in one day after he boarded the science; in Li Bai's eyes, it was the softness of his heart that traveled thousands of miles and pinned on Sauvignon Blanc; in Wang Wei's eyes, it was the grace and magnificence of his meeting the Daming Palace and opening the palace in nine days.
It is their story that makes Chang'an more attractive, and behind this is the condensation of a dynasty of all nations, cultural tolerance, and long-term peace and stability - the ancient capital of the Thirteen Dynasties.
In the cold winter, the snow fluttered, standing outside to take a breath of heat, I wanted to rub my hands for warmth. But with the floating fog in front of his eyes, his thoughts were instantly pulled back to the nightless Chang'an that had haunted people for thousands of years.
Chang'an, which never sleeps, is the guardian of the beginning of dreams

The bells of the Chang'an Bell Tower for the New Year's blessing are about to ring, the female emperor Wu Zetian is cruising in flower boats, the great hero Sikong Zhen is returning with dawn, the streets are full of lights, and the suzaku street is full of people.
The story originates from the glory of the king Chang'an Sai Nian "Chang'an that never sleeps".
However, as a cloud of fog cleared, Gongsun, who had a glimpse of the female emperor, was exposed from assassinating the female emperor, and brought Di Renjie, who had come to pursue, to the depths of the night. After some action, I realized that under the tranquility of this piece of peace, the forces on all sides were showing their magic for the protection of Chang'an. At this point, the story of Chang'an, which never sleeps, comes to us in an atmosphere full of suspense and blood. Bustling sky, a thousand lights at night. Chang'an, which never sleeps, everyone is guarding the dream in their hearts, a good play, which opens up.
After experiencing the fall of Shuocheng, Sikong Zhen realized that a person's strength is not really strong, so he hoped to use the most extreme strength to protect Chang'an and make Chang'an sustainable. In the final chapter of Chang'an, Yixing dedicates himself to entering the game as a chess piece, and together with everyone disintegrates Si Kongzhen's plan. Looking at the entire story line, it is not difficult for us to find that whether it is the "Dali Temple" migrant work team where Di Renjie, Li Yuanfang, and Yunyi are located, or the "Yaotian" squad where Gongsun Li, Yang Yuhuan, Pei Baohu, and Yixing are located, everyone is guarding Chang'an in their own way. Even the "boss behind the scenes" SiKong Zhen is using his most trusted "strength" to protect his homeland.
Whether it is "Dali Temple" or "Yaotian", their hearts are the same, what is the harm in the collision of ideas? Just as in the TV series "The Age of Awakening", after the publication of Hu Shi's "Literary Reform Discussion", the vernacular literary movement arose, and some people applauded, such as Chen Duxiu, Li Dazhao, and Cai Yuanpei; some people adhered to traditions, such as Huang Kan and Gu Hongming; and some people took a different path, such as Qian Xuantong. Seemingly antagonistic, but in fact empathetic. They are all guarding the truth they believe in their own way.
Back to the present, many ordinary people are also using their own strength to build a security defense line for Guotai Min'an. Soldiers stationed in the frontier, medical workers on the front line of the fight against the epidemic, drivers transporting supplies, couriers and takeaway brothers... From another point of view, these "ordinary people" are practicing, paying, and protecting with the "patriotic" concept in their own thoughts.
The unity of will under the collision of multiple ideas is also the spirit of Chang'an.
Of course, the prosperous atmosphere is not only about each role, but also the culture of tolerance is a footnote for the interpretation of Sheng Tang. The key thread that runs through the entire nightless Chang'an is Bao Xianghua, bringing together the aesthetics of the East and the West. The "karma drum and flowering" in the Changle Workshop, giving us a glimpse of what kind of music it is, can make Xuanzong praise without hesitation: "The leader of the eight tones, the music is incomparable." The "Wine Guessing Conference" in the Yin Wine Factory also lets us know how elegant the wine culture of sheng Tang is, and what is the so-called "Analects Jade Candle Wine Chip". In Quchifang, "qushui flows", literati and inkers sit around, and poetry and laughter are like fairy, which makes us indulge in Tang Fengyayun for a long time.
It is these full of details and historical and cultural charm, coupled with the open and inclusive grandeur, so that everyone can find a sense of belonging here, and then work hard to protect it.
The story of Chang'an never ends
So, why Chang'an?
The author believes that economic development is bound to drive the export of culture, and the cultural form of Sheng Tang, whether domestic or overseas, has the best mass base.
In essence, culture is the same as industrial products, and whoever is advanced can export. It is not that Chinese culture in other historical contexts is weak, but that economic development has gone through different stages. The Chang'an City or Chang'an culture under the Tang Dynasty has the best universality and popularity.
In the era of rapid development of the Internet, each of us is the inheritor and guardian of culture, and it is possible to become a disseminator of culture. And "Glory of the King" just assumes a suitable role, taking the cultural treasures taken from the prosperous Chang'an, to inherit and spread its diverse style and spiritual core, in the short term, what everyone sees is to promote the prosperity and rise of the national style, in the long run, it can even be said that it is a layout that is the foundation for future cultural output.
Although the "Chang'an Racing Year" is about to come to an end, the Chinese stories hidden in Chang'an City will be passed on to everyone's heart in another way. It could be an animation or a musical extravaganza.
Those familiar characters and stories, inadvertently, can make us dream back to Chang'an.
