"Water Margin" is the first novel in the history of Chinese literature written in vernacular, the whole book is set in the last years of the Northern Song Dynasty, mainly describing the incompetence of the imperial court and the corruption of officials, the Northern Song Dynasty fell into a financial crisis, and carried out endless persecution and oppression of the people.
One hundred and eight righteous soldiers led by Song Jiang resisted oppression and finally jointly carried out an armed uprising on the Liangshan Berth, and then from the uprising to the final demise.
Throughout the book, it can be said that under the wrong leadership of Song Jiang, each of the 108 righteous soldiers in Liangshan had a very tragic fate. 108 people were used by the Northern Song Dynasty to "borrow a knife to kill people", and only twenty-seven people survived, and these twenty-seven people were eventually killed and injured.
It is worth mentioning that among the one hundred and eight righteous soldiers, there is such a humble big man, who was ridden on his head by his former little brother, often bullied by Song Jiang, but finally survived unexpectedly, this person is Sun Li. So, what kind of story does he have?

When Mao Taigong saw that the reward was about to disappear, he dragged the Xie brothers with a plan, and at the same time asked his son Mao Zhongyi to send the tiger to the state capital to ask for the reward. When the Xie brothers saw that Mao Taigong had not been on the right topic for a long time, they knew that the other party was going to play a trick, and in a fit of anger, they smashed a pass in the Mao family, saying that they were going to report to the officials.
Mao's son-in-law, a state official, said in front of the prefect: "The Xie family brothers smashed and plundered the Mao family, hoping that the prefect would arrest them and bring them to justice. In this way, when the Xie family brothers came to the state capital, they were directly arrested by a group of officials.
After severe torture, the Xie brothers were forced to confess their guilt and put on death row. In order to avoid the long night, Mao Taigong Wen Weng's son-in-law colluded with the cell boss to prepare to poison his brother in prison.
Just when this matter was known to Sun Li's wife and brother-in-law, he informed the Xie family's cousin Gu Dajie about this matter. Sister-in-law Gu and her husband Sun Xin entangled two righteous soldiers and prepared to go to the eldest brother Sun Li to discuss the robbery of the prison, but they were afraid that Sun Li would not agree, so they thought of a way to force Sun Li to obey.
At that time, the husband and wife first used tricks to trick Sun Li's friends into quarrels with people, and even more murders occurred. Sister-in-law Gu lied again that she was seriously ill, tricked Sun Li and his wife into going home, and told Sun Li the truth.
Under the advice of Xiao Zhi with affection and reason, plus Sun Li as a friend to save him, he had to agree and agree to go to the prison with them.

After doing these things, the people rushed to Liangshan all night and fell into the grass. Therefore, he offered Song Jiang the method of breaking the village, hoping to use it as a token of his name to join Liangshan.
It turned out that Sun Li and Zhujiazhuang Xiwu teachers were brothers of the same disciple, and he first used the identity of Dengzhou Terracotta to deceive Luan Tingyu's trust into entering Zhujiazhuang.

In the seventy-first episode of the Water Margin, one hundred and eight good men gathered in Liangshan, Sun Li ranked thirty-ninth in Liangshan, shangyingdi yongxing, while the Xie family brothers who had been saved by him in Dengzhou and the defeated general Hu Yanzhuo were in the Tiangang clan, ranking above him.
Sun Li's skills are very high, why is the ranking so low? The reason for this is that Sun Li was ostracized by Song Jiang and others. On the one hand, it was because during the attack on Zhujiazhuang, Sun Lineng betrayed his former brother in order to join Liangshan, which caused Song Jiang to be jealous.
On the other hand, when Sun Li and others joined Liangshan, Chao Gai was still the head of Liangshan, and Sun Li and others had a good relationship with Chao Gai, and they repeatedly made military achievements and had a good reputation in Liangshan. Then Chao Gai died of poisoned arrows, and Song Jiang ascended to the throne, and Song Jiang was actually a selfish person.

In the Battle of Fang La, the people of Liangshan suffered heavy losses, Lin Chong, Shi Qian, and Lu Zhishen also died of illness, Wu Song and Yan Qing quietly left in frustration, and the rest walked deadly, and only 27 people were left in the end of the 108 good men.
After the army returned to Beijing, Song Jiang, Lu Junyi, and others were killed, and Li Kui, Hua Rong, Wu Yong, and others also had a miserable end. Interestingly, Sun Li and several people from Dengzhou with him survived because they "could not get on the table".
After the collapse of the Liangshan rebel army, they returned to Dengzhou as officials and were able to die well. Looking at the entire "Water Margin", Sun Li's ending is the most satisfactory.
In general, Sun Li was able to write and martial arts, and was definitely worthy of the position of one hundred and eight "Tiangang" of Liangshan, for example, he made many military achievements for Liangshan, attacked Zhujiazhuang, killed Kou Zhenyuan and Sun Qiong, and so on.
