On December 31, according to Tesla's official news, the Xinjiang Tesla Experience Center was officially opened, which is located at No. 1725 Zhenxing East Road, Midong District, Urumqi, in the largest automobile city in Xinjiang.
The Urumqi Tesla Experience Center is tesla's first store in Xinjiang and the 11th store in the northwest region, ranking 211th in the country.
Covering an area of 1,620 square meters, the experience center can provide pre-sales consultation, scheduled test drive, new car testing, insurance consultation, pro-license processing, after-sales maintenance and other services for consumers in Urumqi and surrounding areas in Xinjiang.
In recent years, Tesla has paid special attention to the Market in Xinjiang and the Northwest Region, and has continuously expanded its service network in the Northwest Region, in addition to the experience centers opened this time, Tesla has also opened 11 stores in Xi'an, Lanzhou, Yinchuan and other places.
Not only that, Tesla has built 2 superchargering stations and 14 superchargering piles in Urumqi, and in the whole of Xinjiang, Tesla has built and opened 7 superchargering stations and 36 superchargering piles, with 6 destination charging stations and 12 destination charging piles.
As of August 2021, Tesla's "Northwest Grand Loop" charging line is fully unblocked, effectively ensuring the local users' recharge charging needs.
At present, the development momentum of new energy vehicles in Xinjiang is good, the number of new energy vehicles in Xinjiang is close to 50,000 units, and the sales of new energy vehicles in Urumqi in the first seven months of 2021 have achieved a substantial year-on-year increase of 298.29%, so it is not difficult to understand that Tesla chose to open an experience center here.
