Zhu Yuanzhang (29 October 1328 – 24 June 1398 CE), courtesy name Guorui (国瑞), was the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, with the temple name "Taizu" (太祖) and the historical name Ming Taizu (明太祖). Zhu Yuanzhang, whose original name was Zhu Zhongba, was a cow herder, and his family was poor and sent to the fence.
After the death of his parents, Zhu Yuanzhang became a monk, but it was not long before he left the temple and went out on a tour to make a living begging.
Zhu Yuanzhang then joined the Red Turban Army, carried the banner of overthrowing the Yuan Dynasty, and in order to strengthen his belief, he changed his name to Yuan Zhang, which means to kill the Yuan Dynasty.
Zhu Yuanzhang is a material for fighting wars, has a keen intuition about military wars, and he can always think of things that others can't think of, and he has a unique vision. After Zhu Yuanzhang destroyed Chen Youyu, he became the overlord of the world, destroying Zhang Shicheng and Fang Guozhen successively, and pacifying the south.
In the first year of Ming Hongwu (1368 AD), Zhu Yuanzhang proclaimed himself emperor in Yingtianfu, with the name of Daming, and established the Ming Dynasty. After Zhu Yuanzhang became emperor, he began to reward ministers, such as Liu Bowen, Xu Da, and others, but one person was missed, and this person was Han Cheng.
Why didn't Zhu Yuanzhang reward Han Cheng? Because he died, Zhu Yuanzhang forgot about him. Han Cheng had a mother who was nearly sixty years old, Han Cheng died, Han Cheng had no one to take care of, she became a beggar, she was resentful in her heart, and she was ready to find Zhu Yuanzhang for evaluation.
The son died for him, and he didn't care. When Zhu Yuanzhang went out, Han Mu stopped his palanquin and scolded Zhu Yuanzhang as the dog emperor and scolded him for being ungrateful. When Zhu Yuanzhang heard someone scolding him, he was furious and asked people to bring Han Mu over.
After Han Mu walked in, Zhu Yuanzhang saw that she was an old woman, and she was dumbfounded, how could an old woman scold him? Zhu Yuanzhang asked Mother Han what was going on, and Mother Han said you forgot about my son? Zhu Yuanzhang asked who is your son?
Han Mu shouted two words "Han Cheng", and after Zhu Yuanzhang heard it, he quickly ran out of the palanquin, knelt in front of Han Mu, and said, "You are my mother!" Subsequently, Zhu Yuanzhang took Han Mu to the palace to serve her, and made Han a Marquis.
What's going on here? This matter should be started from a few years ago, in the twenty-third year of the Yuan Dynasty (1363 AD), Chen Youyu led 600,000 troops to attack Zhu Yuanzhang, vowing to destroy Zhu Yuanzhang.
Chen You's soldiers were many generals, Zhu Yuanzhang was not an opponent at all, the two fought in Poyang Lake, and Zhu Yuanzhang's soldiers were defeated like mountains. After Zhu Yuanzhang was besieged, he was ready to commit suicide, at this time Han Cheng stopped him, and Han Cheng decided to commit suicide on behalf of Zhu Yuanzhang, because the two were more similar.
Han Cheng believes that the world cannot be without Zhu Yuanzhang, so he dies for him, only asking Zhu Yuanzhang to take good care of his mother, Han Cheng can't send his mother to the end!
Chen Youyu saw that Han Cheng was dead, thinking that Zhu Yuanzhang was dead, so he relaxed his vigilance, and as a result, he was secretly attacked by Zhu Yuanzhang, and finally Chen Youyu was defeated and died, and Zhu Yuanzhang won the war.
If there is no Han Cheng, it will be Zhu Yuanzhang who will die, so Zhu Yuanzhang is very grateful to Han Cheng and regards Han Cheng's mother as his mother. After Zhu Yuanzhang became emperor, there were many things, so he forgot about Han Cheng.
